Terrific range finder.
My home course was remodeled last year with changes to many holes. My GPS watch works fine on courses with no hole changes but is way off on distance of the holes that are remodeled and will have problems until there is remapping. So I decided to buy a rangefinder. This one had good reviews and a terrific price. My golfing buddies all have rangefinders that coast hundreds more. My Nexus is fast to measure and right on the money for distance. I was not looking for one that adjusts for slope or other factors just reads the distance easily. First click to turn on, second click to measure and it reads in a second or two. Yards or meters. Has the ability to pick out the flag stick from other nearby objects and my unsteady hands are no problem for this terrific rangefinder. I whole heartedly recommend.

Affordable and Remarkably Good
I have put off buying a rangefinder and have relied on my buddies to shoot the distance for me. But the price on this unit was the bait and I took it. It is every bit as accurate as the expensive devices my friends have--we are within a yard of each other, and that could be just where we stand. It's easy to use, accurate, and you can adjust the diopter to correct for your vision. Why wouldn't you buy it?

Accurate, works great, but not perfect
I'm a long time Bushnell guy, but between customer service and having two v2s go out in about 8 years, I thought I'd try something new. One of the things which swayed me to PP besides the price was the fact they respond personally to reviews here, as well as post on Golfwrx. First, it's accurate, just like Bushnell, to 1 yard. The profile is comfortable with rubberized grips, however I wish there was a skin available for a bit more protection / padding. I do like that it's white, as it is good contrast to a golf cart. Three things which I would change, however : Move the mode button, or change the button so it doesn't stick up. I use a magnet holder which wraps around the unit, (by momento golf, they are really popular now) and the mode button interferes with it. I believe I have it wrapped where the button won't press, but we'll have to see. Two, the case is too small, especially with the wrap. I'll keep it on my carry bag though, as it will be good for tournaments. I have an aftermarket case that is fine for transport. By the way, how about incorporating a separate small pocket to hold an extra battery? Three, and this isn't just about PP, but stop it with the decimal yardage. The unit is only accurate to +/- 1 yard, and the tenths readout is completely meaningless. OH last thing, Amazon says this was fulfilled by precision pro. Guys, the unit was shipped in its own box, which was then tossed into a separate cardboard box with ZERO padding. The unit box was just banging around inside. That's wasn't cool.

Great purchase to assist my golf game
Took this out on the golf course today to use on the practice range. Since this is my first range finder, I have to say I don't really have anything to compare to it, but it works perfectly fine as I anticipated. It was just a point and click, and I love the case that came with it. Came with a lanyard, and also came with battery already installed. I found this super easy to use, and it was simple to focus in on the 300 yard pen at the range. I sought out this high visibility color palette (white with lime green) because I wanted to be able to see it if I left it lying down somewhere on a course/cart . A bonus side note. It smells like a pleasant candy-lime scent for some reason. Another side note- According to another review posted here, I found the eyepiece focus dial to be tight to turn, not loose. So this was the only review that concerned me and the unit I received displayed no issue with a loos or floppy eyepiece.

Compact, Durable and easy to use
Absolutely perfect product. It is so accurate, compact and easy to use. I can shoot distance to trees, hills, bunkers and lakes to get the right club selection. The battery lasts a very long time and is very durable. I'm by no means a scratch golfer but this range finder has helped me improve my game. If your in the market for a range finder and that works great and you do t want to break the bank then I really do recommend this one

Pleasantly Surprised!
Based upon positive reviews, I replaced my damaged Bushnell with this brand that I never heard of before. Kind of a roll of the dice, but I didn't want to spend the 'big bucks' again for the name brand rangefinder. Packaging and quality of this unit is very good. Clean, and very easy to use. Had to adjust the eyepiece a couple times prior to my first round, but it's completely dialed in now and works like a charm. Zero complaints. Well worth it!

I bought this after reading the review on My Golf Spy as a best value. And at the price I guess
This fits all needs except for the eye piece. Tough to describe but here goes. You have to turn the eye piece to focus. But the eye piece has now resistance when turning so it just, more or less, flops around or spins around. It won't stay in place. So I found myself having to always refocus every time i tried to use. I bought this after reading the review on My Golf Spy as a best value. And at the price I guess, if you're willing to put up with the goofing around of the eye piece every time you use it, then go for it. Having said all that, the yardage marking is good, it's easy to use (when focused), and has a much better feel in your hand than the Bushnell's I tried.

Great Budget Rangefinder
My old laser rangefinder, a Leupold, started having display problems and I needed to get something quick for an upcoming golf tournament. The Nexus, at around half the price, works better. I am a little shaky trying to get a distance but the Nexus was able to lock in on the pin almost all of the time. It does take a little bit longer for the distance to come up but it's not a problem. The plastic housing doesn't feel as solid as the more expensive models but time will tell how durable it is. So far this is a good deal for the money.
