Great quality poles for a great price
I received my Lumi Outdoor trekking poles today. These are very well made poles and I can't wait to get them out on the trails. The only reason they got 4 starts instead of 5 is because right out of the packaging one of the rubber feet are missing which is a pain because now I have to buy the replacement rubber feet, but besides that I'm happy. I'll update the review and adjust the rating accordingly after some field testing.**UPDATE**I decided to contact Lumi Outdoors about the missing rubber foot on one of the poles and within an hour they contacted me back to take care of the issue. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase, so 5 STARS for Lumi outdoors solid trekking pole and outstanding customer service.

Overall good poles, but......
Outstanding design, but could use small refinements. Overall, these seem like very nice trekking poles. They fold and assemble easily and quickly. The height adjustment is simple and secure. Really, my only complaint is the grip. In my opinion, it should be larger in circumference. Not a huge amount but slightly larger. The biggest change to the grip I would make is a larger "bell" at the base of your hand that would keep your hand from sliding down the grip if you grab it without the wrist strap. My ski poles have a large flair at the base which feels much more secure. Lastly, the strap is slightly annoying to adjust. It uses a wedge to hold length which can be slightly aggravating to adjust but holds well. Not a huge deal because I don't anticipate adjusting it often.Overall good poles but I'd like some grip changes. I anticipate using them quite a bit.

Disappointing
I used these poles several times and initially loved them, they were light weight and perfect for travel. They worked well on my first hiking trip. However when I was hiking down a steep trail on my next hiking trip the bottom section of the pole just fell off. Luckily I was not hurt and made it down the mountain. I contacted the company and the immediately sent me a replacement pole, However on the very next hike, the other pole the bottom section fell off as well. I contacted the company several weeks ago and not had a response.I initially thought 50 dollars was a great deal but not if the design is defective and can cause injury. Thus the one star. I will purchase a better known brand in the future even if it cost more.

Work Great...once you see the assembly video.
I really like these poles. They made a difficult hike very doable for me.But for the beginner, the instructions are a bit vague (and very small). I almost returned them as I thought there was something wrong. I did receive a video from the seller after I had already set up my return through amazon. If the video was added to the description, it would have been a 5 star review.

My husband and I really like these walking sticks
My husband and I really like these walking sticks. We each use one. My only complaint was there were no directions included and I had to find a youtube video showing how to properly set up. You have to pull until it clicks. Otherwise they fulfill their purpose. Sometimes I have to tighten the screw around the part that makes the height adjustments. Very lightweight. I will put in my back pack for our upcoming trip to Iceland.

Great treking poles.
Picked these up for a 3 day AT hike across MD. Saved my butt a couple times climbing out of Penn Mar and across the rock field after Ensign Cowall. Helped increase pace on some of the easier parts of the trail and came in handy when needing a small break.

Good Quality Hiking Poles
Purchased these for an upcoming trip. These are light weight, good quality, and are collapsible to fit into a small backpack. Two poles (each with its own storage bag) are included. Good price for the quality of these poles.

Just packed these in a small carry-on, then hiked the 'Presidents' in NH. They were great! One of the little levers shook loose and was lost on the rocky trail, but the poles still worked ok for the rest of the hike, and Lumi was kind enough to replace it for me free (along with a gentle reminder to periodically tighten the knurled knob).Highly recommended.
