I purchased these lights and installed them appropriately. I cleaned the surface first before installing them. Within an hour some parts had fallen off the wall. By the next morning most of the lighting had fallen off. I requested a return of the item thinking that the one I had was defective since most reviews stated the adhesive was very strong. I received a replacement and put it up again yesterday. I cleaned the molding with alcohol based wipes as advised. Now it’s the next day and there are several sections that have come down. I had high hopes for these! I was super excited to make my daughter’s playroom more cozy and inviting but looks like I’ll be taking these down again.

These are pretty sweet. I got them for my son for his bday. Setting them up was easy; they come with clips that you can screw into the wall, and then clip the lights into them. Pro tip: put the screw in the clip all the way first, you have to bend the clip out a bit, then connect your screw driver, sounds like a no-brainer, but if you have the screw on your drill first you end up dropping the screws a lot. Note: my son did complain of getting a headache after sitting in the blacklight setting for the entire day, I just break up the day with some other lights now and he's good. So just check on your kid to see if that is an issue for them too. Hope this helps.

These are nice, work well and very energy friendly. Just bright enough for what we need. The app is so easy to use and you can make a lot of fun colors with it. But for some reason, despite ordering two from the same listing, one set is much cooler toned and I don't know why.

Bought this for my conservatory. Easy to fit around and control. Can even cut to size. 100% brightness up the room or you reduce to 50 or 25% for more ambient lighting via remote control. Look great from outside too as strip lights up conservatory roof

There is that bubbling and hissing sound coming out of the power brick even going for a short while after I unplug it from the mains. Kit isn't cheap at all so you wouldn't expect the quality to be so low and potentially posses a danger of burning down your house with everything you worked for all your life. Very disappointed.

After moving in to a house with a large conservatory which had no mains powered lights, I thought of using LED lift strip as a quick and cheap option to add some lighting. I bought a 15M COB Light Strip, which came with a UK 3 pin plug and transformer. I installed the light strip around the top of the conservatory using the very sticky self adhesive backing, even on the 25% brightness setting it’s enough to light up the whole room. The 100% brightness setting is very bright indeed! Using the QR code on the transformer to download the mobile app was quick and easy, I find the app has more controls than the included remote control. You can switch on the lights and change the brightness levels from the app. Very quick and simple to install & use.
