Better than expected!
This thing works great for soldering. It has a metal base that weighs enough to keep it from jiggling around too much and the picture is pretty clear for such a cheap camera. My only advice, don't use the included camera part for soldering, use the clear price that already comes installed. It works way better. I do wish the base was ferrous, though. I would like to attach those little magnetic clamps to hold chips to it, but they don't stick.

Not only coins
Great little microscope excellent for coins. Not so good for slides. Not that kind of microscope. I have thrown some bugs and things under it. You can see the hairs on the bugs legs. Veins in the wings. Pretty cool but this scope is mainly for viewing coins. Works great for that. Fast delivery. Couldn’t b more happy!!

Saved pictures may have color issues.
It's relatively cheap, It's easy to set up, focusing is easy enough, the screen is decent (claims to be 1080p). The light on the lens is usually plenty but also has a couple of lights on the base that are good to use if you have something reflective. The remote control is nice so you are not jiggling the screen and camera around by using the buttons on the bottom of the screen to cycle through the menus. It has an internal battery that when fully charged will power the camera, display and all the lights for maybe an hour. You can connect it to your computer and use your computer monitor but be aware that you will see the color issues. Image1 is from my cellphone camera. Image2 is from the monitor taken with my cellphone. Image3 is what was saved to the micro SD card. Image4 is looking at CPU pins. Image5 is close up on the ends of the pins. Image6 is focused on the board around the pins. image7 is a close up of a Nintendo DS ROM that has a lot of color that was saved to the SD card. Images on the Tomlov screen are somewhat close to correct color but images on the computer monitor or those saved to the SD card too green except that image7 looks fine, but it has a lot of color. It has issues with large amounts of white in the picture, that is what turns green. The files get larger as the indicated resolution goes up all the way to "16mp" which I doubt is actually 16mp. 1mp image is about 575kb and a 16mp is about 3,335kb. The manual that comes with it is pretty good at explaining what everything does. Over all I think for the money it will do what most hobbyists will use it for. If you are using it for soldering small circuits and electrical components or looking at coins, it's fine. The images can be quite clear. If you are wanting to take pictures with it you will need some photo editing software to do color correction. I am a little concerned about the small, light gauge wires on the remote. It's what you would expect at this price. It has it's limitations. I think that I can use it for my purposes. I'm going to give it a thumbs up.

Very Good for the Price!
Very good build quality for the price. The bottom is made of metal, so is very good for doing hot air and soldering work under. It's pretty adjustable as well. Very easy to put together. Was surprised at the clarity of it honestly, although I highly recommend the no glare attachment it comes with for best clarity. Seems durable enough for what it is. Been using it for soldering jobs that are too small to effectively work on with the naked eye, and it does a great job at that. Haven't found the remote very useful, or the fact it can take pictures or videos yet, but those are features it does come with if that's something you're interested in. Would definitely recommend this if you need a digital microscope

Great value for price!
The TOMLOV DM9 7” Digital Microscope is an outstanding tool that combines ease of use with excellent image quality, making it perfect for coin collectors, hobbyists, and anyone working on small electronics. The large 7-inch LCD screen displays crisp, detailed images in 1080P with a 12MP camera, and the 1200X zoom allows you to see fine details that are impossible to catch with the naked eye. Focusing is smooth and precise, and the included 32GB SD card makes capturing photos and videos effortless. I appreciate that it can connect to a PC for larger viewing, but the built-in screen is more than enough for most tasks. The sturdy stand keeps the microscope stable, and it’s been especially useful for soldering work where a steady view is crucial. Overall, this microscope is powerful, versatile, and a great value for the price—I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable digital microscope.

Awesome Microscope!!!
This thing is amazing. My 9yr old got it for his birthday from us and I was a little worried but holy cow its cool! It sees so much stuff, clear photos/video and focusing. Easy to use and lightweight. You can actually take it off the stand and carry it to use it alone cuz theres lights in the lens. Hes been glued to this thing for 4hrs now. Just took it outside to explore 😂 my phone wouldn't focus well but he's looking at fibers on my blanket. Very good tool for how cheap it was! The screen is the perfect size too. And its easy to connect the provided sd card to my computer and download his photos.

Item has a weak point - locking device to hold the head.
The head mounts on a vertical pole with gears, it has a single thumb screw to lock it into position, screw fits into a nylon device to lock the head from moving. The nylon device stripped out after one month. Now i have to find ways to secure the head for viewing, otherwise the head slides to the lowest position with no lock. Other than this the lights and the clarity along with magnification works awesome. Easy to use, light weight, and does what i want it to do. The camera works great.

Although it is not clear in title or description, this is actually Tomlov DM9 model. The first one I got I had to return as it wasn't charging, but the replacement was promptly sent. I really liked to product. It does everything as advertised. One thing i was confused was about SD Card. Images say it comes in built but product details said otherwise. Nevertheless i actually got an SD card so happy too USB to PC camera works like a charm These are imported pieces so you need to charge for 3 hours as it is idle from long time It was mainly bought for my dad to help in his soldering but the plate was bit small I thought. Overall 5/5. Really liked it

Ce Microscope est tout simplement génial, aucune publicité mensongère, très facile à utiliser même pour un débutant, je l’utilise maintenant quotidiennement depuis plusieurs semaines et rien à signaler à part un travail de qualité assuré !

I bought this to pre grade Pokemon cards before sending them off to an official grading company. The microscope is easy to set up and has a very nice screen and great quality camera. What I found most useful was the ability to connect it to my PC and view it through the “camera” app for Windows. This allowed me to do measurements in real time. The only downside was that connecting it to the PC made the hue a little yellow, although I think that could be an issue with my PC settings and not the microscope, since the image looked good when using the built in screen.
