Excellent deal with this kit! It is very beginner friendly, but even for someone skilled like me, it’s a fun addition. I do smaller projects that I crochet for random acts of kindness and the yarn has so many color choices; fun ones at that! I like having the user manual that shows the different stitches (because sometimes I have a moment of forgetfulness), stitch abbreviations, and how to read the crochet symbols which is something I’ve been wanting to learn. The plastic accessory kit inside has everything you’ll need. I REALLY love the hooks that came with it because I don’t have much of a pincher grasp due to an old injury between my thumb and index finger, so the grips really help. Hook quality is nice! They would be great for young kids just starting out. They have a nice grip and feel. I love that there are stitch markers and a row counter included, it definitely will be a great addition to helping me keep track and place. Now I will say this as far as the yarn but won’t remove the 5 stars because I knew what I was getting, they are small, but that’s okay by me because I can go by bigger skeins of yarn in a similar or close color if I like it. The yarn quality is nice; it’s a little thinner than I expected but for what this yarn is going to be used for, it’s actually perfect. The tote bag is the perfect size and nice quality; everything fits in nicely and I can take it with me if I want to crochet along the way or wherever I go. Plus being able to see inside without opening is neat. It’s definitely better than the shoebox of things I have! So for beginners, kids wanting to learn, anyone wanting to make small gifts, this is definitely a great choice especially for the price!

This is a great set for a great price if you’re starting to crochet.This comes with so many great tools and a good selection of hooks. The inclusion of different stitch markers and needles is a great touch.The yarn skeins are incredibly small, but great if you want to use a bunch of colors without having a TON of yarn lying around. I made some multicolor hats which I loved. This yarn is also way softer than lots of yarns, especially from Walmart.Though I have bought more yarn since making this purchase, I haven’t had to buy new hooks because this set covered a lot of ground already. I highly recommend a set like this for starters.

OK for starters, the colors are gorgeous and the yarn itself is extremely soft. Everything in the package came about as described, except for the number of yrds. I expected there to be 1600 yards per yard ball to make beanies but it wasn’t. The neon green one is from this kit while the pastel green one is how much I was able to get out of a dollar tree yarn ball.Takeaways: The kit is great for beginners trying out small projects, but for large projects its impractical. The yarn is extremely soft and shiny, so it can be hard yet rewarding to work with if it’s your first time(such as being hard to grip due to slip). My suggestion for beginners looking to practice would be to buy this kit but for more experienced people looking to make large projects I would suggest buying the tools from the actual yarn it self separately due to limited yrds of yarn.

The media could not be loaded. I just got it and it comes with everything so that's nice. The hook sizes are great. The yarn is pretty small but good for a beginner who wants to do small projects. I'm not a beginner but I wanted more tools and it definitely did that. The user manual is kinda hard to understand for a beginner imo. The size print for the hooks does come off very easily though.

Comes with all the needed tools so is nice for beginners! It’s easily storable. The yarn is poor quality so can be difficult to work with.

It's a good beginner's item. I didn't like the different thicknesses of the threads, but then I realized it made sense, and the product box is full of a wide variety of materials. There's plenty of crochet hooks and other related accessories. I like it. The bag is a little smaller than I thought, but it's made of knitted fabric and has a quality feel.

All the colors are beautiful, the yarn is thick and definitely the best yarn to learn how to crochet with the tote bag. I love the size of it. It fits all my yarn once it’s bald up with space.. the kit contains everything that is listed and it is very easy to use. I definitely recommend this to beginners. 10/10…
