Does this work with 2.5g or 5g as well as 10g ? some adapters are 10g only.

Yes. I have used these at 2.5, 5, and 10GiB myself. I have connected them between my Brocade switch and modem. The Modem supports 2.5g and 5g, both data rates work. I have also connected them at 10g between my server and Brocade switch.

Does anyone else get really bad upload speeds through this? When I run my internet through the switch I only get like 3mbps vs the normal 20mbps.

I am having the exact same issue with these! Upload is supposed to be 500, only getting 50 using these.

Do these negotiate 1gb/2.5gb/5gb in addition to 10gb?

On my Mikrotik CCR2004-1G-12S+2XS these do NOT negotiate or work below 10gb. They work for my devices that can negotiate at 5gb and 10gb, but all other devices at 1gb fail to connect, even when forced at 1gb.

Will this connect an nas with a 10gbe adapter to a microtik crs305 sfp+ switch? want to use cheap sfp+ nics for my pcs connected thru the switch.

Yes it should, I am using on Mikrotik CRS currently for connection to Synology NAS 10gbe
