Good quality, heavy duty, great value
Quality hinges that are very easy to install and work great. They come with an allen wrench to adjust the tension, which is very easy. I bought these to use with a 100 lb. wood gate that is 40" wide and 70" high. The only minor thing that I was concerned about was the supplied screws, which seem to be designed for a metal gate and post. After using them for a month, I purchased a second set.

185lb not accurate
Hinges are rated for 185lbs. I had a gate 120lbs and it worked fine but the bottoms hinge was compressed and the upper hinge expanded so it hung out of level. I returned product and they kept $14 even though the product did not hold the 185lbs without sagging. Not happy they did not stand behind the product

Larger than what we had. But we made it work! Heavier duty than the original!

Works perfectly and easy to install
I was looking for sturdy self-closing hinges to replace the wimpy and rusted hinges on the gates for my aluminum railings. Safetech deserves praise to designing a hinge that works perfectly and is easy to install. It's convenient that each set of two hinges (I ordered a second set after I installed the first one) comes with a tool to adjust the tension. My aluminum gates only needed "one click" on each hinge to achieve my preferred tension. My gates close perfectly every time.

The tension adjusts!
We used this for our garden gate. It’s perfect! Quickly installed, easily adjust the tension on the closure. Animals stay out, but I can easily work the gate. It works so well!

Ordered this self closing hinge in July, received it within a week and installed it…great product! Re-ordered the same hinge a few days later and it took three weeks to arrive….inferior quality….not at all the same as my first order…missing screws and hardware. Not at all satisfied! What is going on?🤷🏻♀️
