Purchased these because they come so far up arms. I am a canner and really like them for removing canning jars out of the tall canners and water bath's. Oh they are great to protect you from oven door and rack burns too. They are thick and not great for small hands.

These have held up pretty well with moderate use They insulate from heat really well. I have had no major issues.

Good gloves totally protect hands and arms from burning. Exactly what I was looking for. They are a little difficult to put on quickly with my big hands but does not detract from how well they are built. I purchased a second pair to give to a family member and she loves her pair too.

Heat resistance is great, but quality is lacking. After one winter with the woodstove they are falling appart.I'll just be going with good old leather.

Not sure how they came up with something as precise as 1473 F, but be that as it may, bottom line is that these gloves *do* seem to be quite heat resistant when dealing with very hot BBQ pans, grills etc. Fit well for me. Am reasonably happy with them. Little loop at the wrist so that they could be hanged up easily would have been icing on the cake!

Able to pick up and move around hot charcoal, move hot grills, flame guards etc. Wash every so often and works great.

I wear womens xl gloves. I found that the finger lenght to be very long but the the wrist and arm area to be too tight. I had to return which was hassle free.
