Great solution for increased light.
Ordered this double socket to add a second bulb and increase light output in a table lamp that I converted to a ceiling fixture. It mounted easily and securely on the standard 3/8 thread tube in the lamp and tucked 2 bulbs into the glass shade with plenty of clearance. The wires were long enough to feed through the lamp and connect without adding any additional wire which was nice. The additional 3/8 but on the top of the fixture makes a solid base for using a different type of shade if I want to change it out. I will definitely order these again for future projects.

Great quality piece
I used this to replace an identical light fixture on an older Hunter ceiling fan which had some fraying on the wires. Has the standard threads for most light fixtures, so it mounted right up. The wire leads are plenty long so I trimmed them down to length for my application. Works perfectly.

Fit my 20+ year old fan
Perfect replacement socket for a Home Depot fan that I purchased over 20 years ago. Neither Home Depot or Lowes carried this so I was thrilled to find it on Amazon. Because my light fixture is very shallow, I had to cut some of the metal bracket that suspended below the socket. That had no adverse effect at all. I've attached a picture showing where I cut the metal in case someone else has the same issue. Great buy and just what I needed to keep this ceiling fan & light fixutre operable.

Used this to change several ceiling fans from chandelier bulbs to standard
Worked pretty well for changing my ceiling fans from chandelier to standard bulbs. Had to make a few modifications with some lamp pipe rod to adjust the length from the light kit to the globe on the fan but it worked. The only issue I had with the item is that it isn't very ridged. The metal brackets on the side aren't tightly attached so when the lamp rods attach to them, the whole thing isn't quite as ridge as I would like. It would be nice if the metal brackets were all one piece instead of two separate pieces attached to the central socket unit.

Here's to more Lumens!
Best conversion option for fan lights. Buy a couple LED short bulbs and you're done for many years. LED bulbs will give you about 4 times the Lumens!!! I needed a short threaded post (cheap at any hardware store). To complete the surgery. Also, a little bending/spreading to make it fit (not too hard😀)

did the trick. Easy fix up for our vintage industrial fixtures that we wanted to fix up. easy to make just about anything into lighting with these.

2 light offset cluster
I think the shade bracket could of been made better but all in all it worked just fine.
