Zoomigurumi 3: 15 Cute Amigurumi Patterns by 12 Great Designers Paperback – April 1, 2014

I already have Zoomigurumi 1 and I have Zoomigurumi 2. AND of the three this is the best one yet! It's got soooo many cute and inventive designs to crochet! In a previous book there was a turtle design that was cute, but in this book the turtle design is EXCELLENT! I love it!! I can't wait to crochet this one! The shell of the turtle is made up of several hexagonal granny squares, which I can create in a rainbow of colors to make the turtle even more colorful for my daughter! Or use some of the slow color changing yarn and create a fantastic variegated design. I'm truly looking forward to doing many of the designs in this one! PLEASE, PLEASE continue to release more of these books!! I LOVE THEM!! I hope you put out a dozen more!!

Some are cute, but not many. Maybe it's the clothes on the hippos/reindeer. Just don't find them as cute as I thought based on the cover. haha, don't judge a book by its cover. I was going to return, but I didn't buy it with prime, so I might as well keep it for the patterns, I can obviously not make clothing for the animals (scarf pictured on cover is cute). animals in the book: tall bird (with striped blue shirt), aofrementioned hippo, fawn (cute, but unnecessary headband), penguin (adorable), husky, duckling (I'd prefer it not on its feet, weird beak), awful looking panda, cute cow (minus the outfit), front cover hedgehog, "standing" fox which will never stand like that on its own, lamb (pretty cute), turtle, kangaroo with its joey in her pocket (not cute but i think it's the thin nose and tiny eyes, so easy fix, with a lame flower on the head), fox (pretty cute, not in love with the extra white wrinkles to the face- I do like the tiny legs vs large tail and head), scary looking reindeer- he looks ill), Maybe they should have stopped with book 2.

This is my first purchase of any amigurmi patterns. I bought this book for the reindeer, but liked most of what is in the book. I was happy to find instruction for basic stitches in the front of the book, including a magic ring which is how you start every piece of the amigurumi. I thought the stitches were easy. Having never made amigurumi, I was unsure how to assemble it and instructions for assembly are minimal. It was trial and error for me. I have no clue how the "turtleneck" on the reindeer was supposed to be put on and I dont think I put it on right. Overall I am happy with my purchase and have since purchased another book from this company.

I purchased this book specifically for the hippo pattern. I'm working on the Happy Hippo for a very dear friend I can't wait to give it to her. In the meantime, I'm thinking about the other 14 patterns. I'm having a hard time deciding which to do next: Cuddles the Lamb or. Rusty the Red Panda

This book is pretty much perfect. The animals are cute. The instructions are clear. There are a lot of photographs and details showing how to do the more complicated steps. I love this book.My first crochet book was Edward's Menagerie, which is okay, but I wish I had saved my money and skipped straight to this book. This book somehow manages to have more instruction and more detailed photographs in a smaller format. Also, the Edward's Menagerie animals are kind of ugly, especially compared to these cuties.

Ok first things first, there is a MAJOR publishing error with this book.It has the COVER for book 3 in the series, but the inside pages are all BOOK 4.They even included a pattern correction card meant for book 3 in it.The book I got (4) does have some super cute patterns, hut I am incredibly disappointed that such a big error like this made it out of the publishing house and into stock.Please be aware when ordering this might happen to you as well, unsure of how many copies are messed up like this.

I am having the best time making these, I planned to make a bunch and sell them for Christmas money but so far I have given them away. Each one comes out more adorable than the one before. I have purchased some of the other Amigurumi books as well. What a fun thing to do after all those scarves and blankets and other crochet over the years.

I love all the animals and the directions are well written. They come out larger than I expect amigurumi to be, but they are still cute, and an experienced crocheter can scale down the size. My next hedgehog is not going to be a foot tall! I've also made Clementine the Cow, and she's really cute. I also have the first book in this series and like that one also.

I have all of these books, they are brilliant as they have different levels of difficulty and the instructions are really clear, I'm not the best at crochet but I have managed to make some really nice little animals for friends children and even kept a few myslef! They are great little projects for a couple of days and the animals grow before your eyes. Make sure you buy quality stuffing so that they stay nice and firm once stuffed!

Am new to this craft, but am enjoying making these cute toys. In spite of the instructions I am finding it difficult to master some of the techniques.Not one to give in, I get there in the end and I'm thrilled with the end product, but be warned, it can be extremely frustrating and time consuming.

Delighted with this book. I don't often write reviews but this book deserves one. The animals are so cute! The projects are coded according to skill level and the stitches section at the beginning includes all the details for the different stitches required for each project. I made the hedgehog first and can't wait to make more.

the instructions in this book are really clear and the finished article is as cute as those pictured. only negative is that some of the animals are the same as in zoomigurumi 3. Not the same patterns but same species of animal.

Absolutely love this book fab designs easy to follow instruction , colourful pics... have already made 3 of the characters and they look lovely I am going to invest and buy the other books 1-2 they are really worrh buying
