Dale of Norway Women's 100% Skinsoft Merino Wool Feminine Christiania Cardigan Sweater

The sweater itself deserves a 5+ rating, but I gave this a “4” because of the poor packaging that it arrived in. The sweater is gorgeous and looks to be an authentic Dale of Norway. It’s elegant, very beautiful and extremely well constructed, not to mention warm and not at all itchy. You can’t go wrong with this one. Packaging could use some improvement though; the sweater arrived completely unwrapped in a cardboard box (no bag or any protective wrapping). It made me wonder about how it was stored in the warehouse before shipping (i.e., on the floor with no bag to protect it?).

It’s a Christmas gift

The quality is superb, my wife has several from 30 years ago and they are like new, expensive but for the quality an years of use well worth it. The sizes run small so order the next size up.

I really enjoy this high quality cardigan sweater, it’s really a timeless piece and fits both casual and more festive occasions. The merino wool is surprisingly soft and does not itch at all. The double zipper makes many different looks and is very handy. I like this more modern corset type shape rather than the traditional bulky Norwegian sweater. The price I got was amazing and way less than in Europe.

This sweater is beautifully made. As someone who has sewed for a very long time, I was amazed at the attention to detail.

Dale of Norway is fantastic! This sweater is lovely! The cut is perfect. The double zipper is so nice. The wool is soft. It can be worn with a turtleneck underneath on colder days or wear it as a jacket with a t-shirt. Fits perfectly! True to size. It was a birthday gift from my husband! We originally saw it while in Norway & it was much less to buy it on Amazon. Tusen takk, Amazon!

This is an expensive cardigan, but got it at a great price and my Mum loves it as it close fitting keeps in the warmth, but is not bulky so suitable for everyday use and being merino wool very comfortable to wear in any climate
