Love this brush for my daughter. I use this daily on her hair, which tangles easily and is full of food and who knows what else at the end of the day (she's two and has hair to mid back).The shiny colorful bit is nice as well, lending a little extra "oooh" and "ahhh" when I bring out our "magic brush"Four stars is only because the bristles seem to scratch her more than other brushes we own. This might be part of the design which makes it detangle and de-pasta/oatmeal/whatever my girl's hair. Who knows!

My daughter is 7.5 years old and has sensory processing disorder. Brushing her hair caused her physical pain. When she was about 3 her occupational therapist found out about Knot Genie brushes at a conference. We have 4 now and love them! No more tears!

Only giving a 3 star on this one. My daughter has midly thick hair, and it only got the tangles on the top layer. Won't get anything under that layer, which defeats the purpose.

Didn't really work to detangle my daughter's hair, but to be fair, her hair is extremely thick and tangles easily. She did like the design and the fact that it was compact.

So glad to finally be able to find these besides a hair store...great price!

I could not believe how great this worked...my daughter is 2.5 and has such crazy hair that nothing ever worked...always a matted mess. This brush I literally brushed twice and almost all tangles were gone, will definitely recommend this

I bought this for my daughter who is a year round swimmer and she loves this brush. It does take out all the knots but you have to work it.

The product does not work as good as the big brush. We loved the big brush but this one does not even get through the hair to brush the tangles out. So disappointed.

Works really well in knitted hair much better than any other comb. No more crying from the kids.
