I’ve been using the De’Longhi EcoDecalk Descaler for over a year now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the most essential maintenance products for any espresso or coffee machine owner. I had used Keurig Descaling Solution since I bought my latest machine. Faithfully. Not necessarily from this seller or even site, but the same product, and it's expensive. A long-time Keurig (indeed, Cuisinart before that) owner, I am familiar with the signs that a descaling is necessary, and my current machine will even tell me when I forget. Tiring of the expense and noting the ingredient list for a knock-off product that listed it, I perused Amazon for citric acid, the non-toxic base ingredient Keurig uses. I found it in many forms: powder, liquid, even tablets. The price varied extensively, but when I saw this product from such a respected name and at a great price per use and in my beloved Subscribe and Save program, I knew I had to give it a shot. It works like a charm. I'd say, better than the OEM Keurig solution and for half the cost per use. There are four applications in this bottle, while you use the whole bottle of the Keurig brand. While it's simpler to pour the entire bottle in the tank, it's much more spendy. The De'Longhi does have one issue: the instructions can be difficult to locate in English or whichever language is your primary. You'll need to lift the sticky tape that many manufacturers of bottle products are now using and page through all the paper to find your language, but the directions are likely there for you, and they are definitely included in English - after all the safety warnings. Keep looking! There are handy markings on the side of the bottle, as well, so just pour out the amount to the next mark into the tank and you're ready to continue. I have found that the machine actually responds better and needs descaling less often with this product than when I used the OEM Keurig solution, and I run a LOT of KCups. I use the brewer often, for coffee, tea, chai, whatever. I even use it to start hot water for cooking at times. My husband uses it, too, though just for coffee. So, it will need more descaling than average, I expect, and this product is the one I'll be using until I find something better. Right now, I see no reason to go looking for one, since it's a great product at a nice price. With Subscribe and Save, I get an even better price, too! I do recommend you give it a try in your machine. It's wonderful.

I selected this to descale my DeLonghi ECP espresso machine, but I have used it with my Bambino as well. The soulution works well and keeps my espresso machines in tip top working order. I have used other solutions, but I have come back to using this one. It’s easy to use and I feel like I don't need to rinse as much with this solution to get the machine running clean after the descale cycle. Effective and easy to use descale solution

CLEANED & RINSED WELL - Used in my De'Longhi espresso maker. Make 2-3 cups every day using dark roasted Arabica and Robusta beans, so normal and oily beans. I was cleaning my machine 2-3x year filling the water tank 1/2 - 2/3 full of white vinegar and flushing until there wasn't any vinegar taste. Got brown tinged water first couple flushes. Not much (if any) difference in espresso quality afterward. I clean it because it supposed to be good for the machine. I didn't find that this product cleaned any better than the vinegar, although it's supposed to. My machine just doesn't get that dirty, I guess, even with my fine-ground dark beans. You use less of this acid-based cleaner than the vinegar method so it does flush more quickly than the vinegar wash, about twice as quickly; but, I didn't think it cleaned better. If you like the ease of this one and don't mind storing the bottle, go for it. I probably won't buy again because I always have white vinegar around for other cleaning and rinsing. This bottle (5 uses) will last me 1.5 - 2 years. CUSTOMER SERVICE - This arrived damaged inside its protective bag. it was well packaged but I think poorly sealed at the factory, although the lid was on. Called Customer Service and asked for a reduction for the missing liquid. Uploaded a photo of the bottle and box and received the credit immediately.

Uso este descalcificador De’Longhi EcoDecalk DLSC500 con una De’Longhi Magnifica S, y mi experiencia ha sido muy positiva, sobre todo en cuanto a duración y rentabilidad. El envase indica que sirve para 5 descalcificaciones, pero en mi caso me da para 6. En esta cafetera hay que llenar el depósito hasta una marca concreta y, dejándolo apenas unos milímetros por debajo, sigue funcionando perfectamente y el producto cunde más sin perder eficacia. USOS REAL Y DURACIÓN: Hago aproximadamente 4 cafés al día, y la máquina me pide la descalcificación cada mes y medio, más o menos. Con este ritmo, Una botella me cubre casi un año completo de mantenimiento. La última botella la compré en noviembre de 2024 y todavía me queda producto para una descalcificación más (teniendo en cuenta que aún quedaba algo de la botella anterior cuando realicé esta compra). VALORACIÓN PRÁCTICA: Producto fácil de usar y específico para cafeteras De’Longhi. Ingredientes de origen vegetal, lo cual se agradece. La cafetera funciona correctamente tras cada ciclo de descalcificación. Por el precio que tiene, el coste anual de mantenimiento es muy bajo. CONCLUSIÓN: Si tienes una De’Longhi Magnifica S (o similar) y haces un uso normal de la cafetera, este descalcificador sale claramente rentable y cumple perfectamente su función. Puede parecer caro de entrada, pero a largo plazo compensa, porque dura más de lo que indica el fabricante. Volveré a comprarlo
