1 inch is not the standard garden spigot size
Not not sure where in the world they use 1 inch garden spigots, but the standard is 3/4 inch. I found this out the hard way.

Just What I Needed - Works Perfectly
I had originally both these as our local Walmart store a few years ago, and I had the tubing, but the store stopped carrying the connectors. I did a quick search on Amazon and found exactly what I needed. They are perfect for connecting half inch tubing to a faucet or other source. Just squeeze the end, slip it onto the tubing, and you have a drip free connection.
