Very economical

My mom is 89 and a few years ago ended up in the hospital with low electrolytes and a dangerously low sodium level. I gave her electrolytes for a few years then her sodium started dropping again. I decided to try these and it has been good again! These are literally saving her life!

It gives salt. The issue is that it's Salty going down, no coating - and when you take on an empty stomach you will get nausea as the salt burns a hole in your stomach (figuratively) where the concentrated pill is. Drinking water doesn't help because it bypasses the stomach. You'd have to drink a waterfall. Also I got this weird issue where after I took 2 or 3 with a lot of water for the first time, I had gratuitous, to the point I probably couldn't drowned in it, of saliva produced. I had to keep swallowing the saliva and it became gross. I didn't know a human could produce that much. Didn't happen after. I stopped using these without food. Even then they can cause issues with food if it hasn't dissolved.

Bought these for my mom to keep her sodium in a safe range. The sodium tablets at the hospital were 1g, large and difficult to swallow. They caused her to vomit and just a pain to crush up and mix with something to make them tolerable. These 500 mg are easy to swallow and do not upset her stomach when she takes one after a meal. These are a win for us due to there size and smaller dosage.

A must have in our home. This allows us to keep sodium on hand anywhere we are. This has been divide up to keep in the car, purse, backpacks, etc. Being a family with more than one of us having POTS sodium tablets are a necessity and life saver.
