Our two recliners are next to each other, with no table in between. We wanted to be able to share the TV/satellite/sound bar/DVD player remotes without problems. The armrest with all of the pockets is working great for us. We can both reach all of the remotes comfortably, without the intrusion of a table between us.One tip: roll the excess cloth on the bar and stuff it down between your cushion and the arm rest. It holds it in place without causing discomfort. :)

I really liked the concept of this. And these days, who doesn't own a bajillion remote controls? I keep my reading glasses as well as remotes, phone charging cable and a pen in mine.The problem I have is that I have mine on a recliner and it keeps working it's way to the rear of the arm rest so that it's almost behind the chair, and I have to keep pulling it back into position. I can either pull it out and move it and put the rod back between the cushion and the wall of the chair, or just try to pull it while it's in their. Either way will, eventually, tear the fabric on the recliner, I think.Otherwise, it's okay.

Well made but the larger pocket was not large enough to fit my I pad with its small cover on. I have to take the cover off to store it & then put it on to use the ability to tilt it. Definitely not big enough for average magazine. Also, the fabric was just a little rough for my "old" sensitive skin.

Seems like they're good quality - well-made and water repellent so this should protect the arm of the chair well while providing convenient pockets that were thoughtfully sized.

Love this. I use it by my bed and put it under my mattress. Fits a paper back book and my ipad. Remote pockets are perfect for TV remote and Roku remote.

just what I wanted, stays in place, very convenient

I am not totally satisfied as my furniture is leather, however the metal bar helps me make it work.
