HEZHEN Damascus Kitchen Knives Set, Damascus Steel Japanese Style Chef Knife Utility Knife Santoku Knife,Figured Sycamore Wood Handle

I've only had this for a couple weeks, but it seems really, really nice. Great all purpose asian style cleaver...very nice quality for the money. Not for breaking bones, etc, but really good for everything else. Cutting vegetables, meat, etc...all great and does not stick. I have a Wusthof asian chef's knife that was twice as expensive and very nice, but it sticks when chopping vegetables, especially cabbage, while this does not. Great balance and weight. I would suggest coating the handle with some Boos Block board cream after each use... while beautiful out of the box, the sycamore handle seems very absorbent. The beeswax and mineral oil combo seems to retain the luster and seal it from liquids. Very happy with my purchase.

I totally love this knife. It is well made damascus blade and is super sharp. I maintain the edge with a couple of swipes over a ceramic "steel". The handle is beautiful and feels really good and secure in your hand; even when wet.I would purchase the entire set if I needed them.

This knife is actually pretty nice. Very sharp out of the box. At this price I'd start to expect attention to detail and craftsmanship. This one delivers. The transition from wood to steel is very smooth, no rough edges or gaps. Size is nicely balanced. Fairly thin blade cuts well and functional for most prep work. Handle was moderately figured wood, but still nice. In all, money well spent.

Bought this for my boyfriend whoes a chef and he literally cried. This is a BEAUTIFUL knife and is crafted to perfection. The blade is SO sharp and stays sharp for a LONG time. Has a good weight to it and it fits in your hand perfectly. Such an amazing product for the price. It cuts through anything with ease!

This knife looked promising, but the quality is severely lacking. Despite the claims of using high-grade Damascus steel and advanced craftsmanship, the blade I received had visible imperfections and dull edges right out of the box. The supposed "super sharpness" was non-existent, and after just a few uses, it began to chip and rust. The handle, while aesthetically pleasing, feels cheap and doesn't offer the comfort or balance as advertised. I expected much more given the price and the glowing description.

Beautiful raindrop Damascus pattern and is razor sharp straight out of the box bought as a birthday gift but will probably buy one for myself now.

I absolutely love this knife! So much so, that I also bought the bread knife. The handle feels good in my hand and the blade is super sharp. The only problem I have is that these old arthritic hands get tired and hurt after using my utility knife for a while. And this is heartbreaking for me when I am doing a lot of cutting during canning season. I do not have need of a huge set of knives when I only use a few of them regularly. I highly recommend this brand to anyone who is looking for a good quality knife for the kitchen. Now, I am off to see if I can find the only other one I really need and that is a paring knife.
