Edifier T5 Subwoofer – Great Value for Small Rooms I’ve been using the Edifier T5 Subwoofer in my 12x15 room for 1 week now, and for the price, it’s been an excellent buy. The bass is deep and punchy, and the thump it creates really adds life to music and movies. It’s powerful enough to fill my room without overpowering the other speakers. Build quality feels solid, setup was simple, and the controls on the back make it easy to fine-tune the bass to my taste. For anyone looking for a budget-friendly subwoofer for a small to medium-sized room, the T5 delivers way more than you’d expect at this price point. I’m very satisfied with the performance.

I have a set of Mordaunt Short Carnival 6s paired to a Norge Concerto Gold 1000 amp. It's a budget setup but has very clear and mellow sound. The problem is that the Carnival 6s have 5 1/2 inch bass drivers and these can't really reach very low. Since a while i've know that i'm missing some of the lows and base lines from either dance tracks or even classical jazz pieces. And have been wanting to add a sub. Saw the Edifier on Z Reviews (YouTube) and despite being a very critical guy rated them pretty high. So decided to give them a shot. What appealed to me is the connectivity. It takes in a RCA input and also has an RCA pass through connection. So my setup is RCA out from my source (TV), into the RCA In on the T5 and then RCA out from the T5 to the amp. This means my TV volume controls the whole system. Which is the way i usually run my setup anyways as the Norge amp doesn't have a remote either. So this really works for me. Once all the crossover and sub volume is set you can literally forget about it. And if for some reason you don't want the sub to chip in you can simply turn it off and it will still pass through signal through the RCA passthrough setup to the amp! Performance It's more than powerful enough for a small hall. The crossovers works well. Bass fills the room and it's completely without distortion. Find the volume knob is a little too sensitive. I only need about 25% volume and then even a small turn makes things start to sound boomy. Build quality is great. Comes with a bunch of cable but i would upgrade those immediately as they are pretty basic quality.

I was looking to buy this subwoofer for the past one year with apprehension & confusion. Finally - my karma has come to pick up this last piece of sub for 13K in GIF. I think it is Good Deal. I already have a pair of R1280DB Speakers hooked up with my desktop which internally has Creative Sound Blaster Card. What to say! it was just Heaven when plugged the 3 mm Jack to the bookshelf and RCA to the sub - Furthermore, its only Thunder from all quarters and my glass showcases are shivering of its impact. The looks are premium, with good volume controls at back with LPF switch. Best compatibility with the above speakers. Buy this if you have rooms above10X8 otherwise the bass reverberates. Do not hesitate to buy if you have the resources - This small mammoth will cater your bass needs to the extreme. I am sure you will not regret the purchase any time - unless you want to shatter your neighbors glass showcases.

I have used only one day as of now but bass quality is very good it's good for 120-200 square feet room and provides deep bass good for watching movies and music can go for it

First I was skeptical of Buying this Subwoofer as I was unsure about the connecting to Sony HIFI System RX90. Connection was actually very easy. Now the Sound: I was between the 8inch and 10 inch subwoofer for power bass. I was completely blown away with the Performance. Not complicated to adjust the Bass with your requirement. Price point is amazing as other brands for 40K+. Owning a Active Subwoofer at 15k with such an amazing output and compatible with Hifi system has completely changed the experience in Listening to Music or Watching movies on OTT platform. Movie night now is like watching in Cinemas I don't hear any rumbling in bass, which says clarity is also good.

After a lot of research and waiting on sale Finally received my Edifier T5 Subwoofer Connected to Denon 1800H AVR via Pre Out number 2 , This Subwoofer is next level in music and movies now. After tuning the CrossOver Frequency to 120 Hz, 0 Angel, 3 0 clock Frequency and Volume, now I feel the real power of this Subwoofer. Floor Shaking, Wall Shaking, Awesome Sound Quality, Awesome Clarity , Functionality, Compatibility, Just my main Volume on Denon is 0.5/99 trust me it shakes everything Loving it so much , Tuning Matters, and this is peak level performing Subwoofer Awesome purchase I made this Festival 😎 No need to buy any Expensive Subs A pair of T5 is enough to shake anything for AVR.
