I quite like this light so I’m writing a review.I’m using it on my MacBook Pro 15” for a week and it stayed on every night since I got it.It replaces a light I had on the side that was cluttering my desk, and that I broke. Having the light on top of the screen makes a real difference. It takes virtually no space, there is no screen glare, the light is centered where you need it (obviously it depends where is your monitor…) and the light doesn’t go straight to your eyes. That last point is the biggest improvement to me.Don’t be fooled, this ain’t a BenQ ScreenBar- It is slightly narrower. 40cm vs 45cm- It is slightly less luminous. 255 lm vs 320lm- It has a slightly narrower color range 3000~6500K vs 2700~6500KThen, would I buy this again? Hell YES!! You saw the real different, this a third of the price! I paid ~$40 for more or less the same specs.The body is in metal, it feels quite sturdy and with the braided wire it looks really good. There is 2 spacers with a spring, so it should work on most monitors. Mine is just lying on the screen, but it doesn't move at all.I was concerned by it being less luminous (still much higher than the Baseus which is around 150), but it turns out I’m using almost always the lowest level. I like the cozy warm ambiance it creates, so I’m not going to use the full 255lm anytime soon.One flaw I don’t care too much about is the buttons. In the end I use only on/off which works well, but if you plan to change the color/intensity quite a lot, this isn’t the best design (BenQ does the same, except the Plus, quite pricy).Having only one button for each feature means you don’t know if it’s going to go higher or lower, and it takes long seconds with your arm in an uncomfortable position.PS: Benefit, having it on my MacBook, it obstructs 80% of the camera. It’s perfect for my privacy, and I can move it slightly while in meeting

I don't understand the negative reviews about this lamp. This product is AWESOME!! Compact, but solid design. Touch controls are very reliable, although it does take a minute to understand how to get the light to respond. The auto, dimming feature works remarkably well. My house lights are all connected to Alexa and it's cool to see how it turns on and automatically adjusts to the low (dim) setting, and then gets brighter as the day progresses and the sun begins to set.I must admit that I was worried about the counterweight since my monitors are ultra, thin, but it fits snugly, doesn't jostle easily, and most importantly, it causes no damage to the monitor itself.The light can produce daylight light levels. However, I prefer the warm white setting. I find that it works great for reducing eye strain after a typical 10-13 hour day.I love this lamp! I think some of the negative reviews here are actually for a different product. I for one am glad with the purchase. If you're on the fence about this one, don't be! Go for it. You won't regret it!

Does what its supposed to, the auto-calibration for your environment works well. my only complaint is that its not really meant for my monitor(dell gaming monitor), as the clip on the bar is too thin. it currently is balanced on my monitor. but if you have a thinner monitor it will not be an issue

I got this light to complete my home office setup. I use the light as a work light when I'm working during odd hours and also as a "fill light" during web conference calls (see photos for my setup). The light has a counter-weight at the mounting base - so even if your monitor is too thick or non-standard sized, it should mount without any issues. The light comes with a braided sturdy USB-C cable that can also be used to charge your phone or other accessories.Will follow-up with a report on durability and other issues later, but so far so good!

This monitor light is great, especially the auto adjust feature. I like how the light gradually gets brighter as the room gets darker. It is light-weight and balances perfectly on the monitor. It works best with monitors that have a flat back, but can still be balanced on monitors with curved backs. You just need to adjust the counter-weight so it stays when you press the buttons. The buttons are responsive and do not require much pressure to activate. The light temperature and brightness can be adjusted based on your needs. I highly recommend and would purchase again.

Very cool product that I didn’t even know existed until I saw it on Amazon! It’s a bit larger and heavier than I expected it to be but still fits well on my laptop without any issue. My favorite thing about it is that it gives a nice homey glow to my workspace without the light shining in my eyes. It pretty much needs to be plugged in all the time so make sure you have an extra USB outlet in your laptop, but other than that, set up was easy out of the box!

The lamp is elegantly designed but the monitor top mount bracket will not be compatible with monitors that has back-side curved surface (no flat side for the clamp to to grip with out slippage).you can either find a solution with both of the supplied plastic spacer...for now I just you neodymium magnets and some adhesive to hold it in place. it seems even when swiping over buttons action with out it falling off.To manufactor: you can't even supply a adhesive metal strip and magnet solution?

This Novtech light bar solved a number of my desktop problems all at once. It now gives me adjustable light right where I need it, without a bulky desk lamp taking up valuable space. It has a low profile, with adjustable light temperatures and a dimming feature. This is a nice looking, well-made, in an aluminum frame, easy to set up and operate. The light field is moderately adjustable, but does not impair the view of the screen whatsoever. All in all, it was a worthwhile purchase.
