Amazing door stop
I used this in my newly remodeled bathroom and it works better than any other door stop I have ever used. It holds the door open when the magnet grabs it, and the release is really nice. Just a light pull and it lets go. Also gives a soft stop when the door is opened fully. I used the hole in the mounting plate to screw it into a floor joist, so it is very secure.

Better than expected
We ordered two of these and are very pleased with them! They were easy to install and work exactly as described. When we hear the "thunk' of the magnet, we know the door will stay open, even when the dogs are rough-housing around near the doors. And they're very minimal and modern in style, which is exactly what we wanted.

A little noisy but works
It’s installed into the floor which in our case was the carpet so we couldn’t make a mistake or there would be a hole in the carpet that is unrepairable. Also, I’d say it is just as noisy as the traditional one my parents have that goes into the wall instead of the floor.

easy to install and just works
I had a non-magnetic floor mounted stop, but the door would swing partially shut when the forced air heat or air co ran (vent behind the door when open). This stop fixed the problem. It is not totally silent, there is a satisfying, but quiet click when the magnet catches the door.

Quality Heavy Duty Magnetic Door Stop
