De Ding Metal Half Rim Bifocal Reading Glasses

I love these glasses I've used multiple pair for over 5 years. I am rough on them and loose them a lot So I keep several pair on hand. They are well made and fit good.

This is my third pair in 6 years. I had cataract surgery in 2018 and my eyesight was corrected to be farsighted, so I needed prescription glasses to see close up and to read. Reading glasses work almost as good for 1/20th the price so I went that way. I got these because the clear GLASS... no plastic... allowed clear vision and I could see sharp and close up by looking downwards. In 2020 I decided to go with 2.5 that were a bit stronger. A few days ago I took a bad spill on a hillside and broke the glasses. Got the new pair in 2 days - for the same price I paid 6 years ago(!) - and I'm back in business. EDIT: I have noticed a slight yellow coating on the glasses, typically called "anti-blue" to reduce blue sensitivity. Since I need CLEAR - as they are advertised to be - I decided to return these and look elsewhere. Sad because I really like these glasses.

After years of wearing full face glasses, I did not want to go to reading glasses just because my distance was no longer required. Amazon had full faced glasses with the top part of the lens clear & the bottom with a 2.50 bifocal that my doctor recommended to read. Lots of styles to choose from & even sunglasses had I wanted a pair. They clean nicely too. The bifocal was positioned accurately which was a concern of mine…no worries though. I love them & wear them practically 24/7. The price was a plus too! Definitely recommended! Thank you!

Well made. Stylish. Clear lens on top; reader lens for the bifocal. Allows me to go around the house or at the office using my post-surgery excellent distance vision, but still able to immediately read something or look at something close up. Highly recommend. I bought two pair and am glad that I did.

It does the job plain and simple. Allows the convenience of readers without having to remove glasses to see at distance. It was heavier than I expected, but did not slip of my nose due to the nosepiece and a good fit. The hinges were a little stiff and still are after 4 weeks of use. The area that could use the most improvement is the finish. The plastic nosepiece still had some rough edges that could have burnished. It was a little "scratchy' on my nose, but what easily remedied... I just burnished/smoothed the edges with my fingernail. The one part that needed a little more work was a burr on the inner side of one of the hinges. It poked a my finger a little when it touched it, but luckily it did not scratch as it did not make contact with my temple or face. Still haven't bothered to fix it, but should be easy to file down. It's not a deal breaker. I still feel this is a good buy and you plwouldn't be disappointed as you probably won't find a similar and better product in this price range.

Glasses fit good and clarity is fine . The case shown is not what you get. The case you get does not even allow the glasses to fit into them, but not a big deal.

They are well built, comfortable, and look good. However I'm very annoyed that the lens is slightly tinted yellow. No mention of tinting in the description. Just had my cataracts removed, so yellow is similar to effect of cataracts.

These are, by a long way, the best reading glasses I've bought. They come at the end of a long trail of shoddy items from CVS, Target and Readers.com. They are so good, that I now use them as my only glasses and I've been able to recycle the large collection of other readers which previously littered the house, car, garage etc. In fact, I had got to the stage where I had a pair of readers for every area of activity, so that I wouldn't find myself without. Plus backups because they kept breaking. These ones, I wear all the time. These De Ding bifocals are close to perfect. Light, comfortable and bombproof in construction, they seem like the perfect answer so far. Just be prepared for them to take a bit longer to arrive than most items on Amazon— they are shipped directly from the factory in China. However, they came much sooner than the estimated date, and they are well worth waiting for.

These were so easy to get used to wearing and the "reading" area is in the perfect place...easy on the eyes and very comfortable to wear.

Very happy with these glasses. They fit well. They look good. Not too big of a lense.

These are closer in quality to Dollar Store glasses. One of the pads fell off half an hour after receiving them. Waste of money

Takes a bit to get use to.
