I love these papermate felt tip pens.

Received all 12 pens, a few had a cap problem.
My mother is a teacher. She absolutely adores Flair pens, as they “show up really nicely on a projector.” When she saw they were on sale (a lightning deal) for $5.80, she had to get them, so I ordered them for her. Initially, I was worried as I’d seen reviews stating they only got 11, or that 3/12 pens didn’t have ink. All of the pens wrote beautifully. The only thing though, and this is a minor thing as the pens wrote nice, is that some of the white subcaps came off (pictures will show what I mean), so you had to take two caps off before you could write. Initially, there were three pens that had the problem, but I ended up snapping one in by closing it the first time, so I think it’s a solvable problem. Also, some of them closed ‘weakly,’ if you get what I mean, so I was a bit paranoid and had to double check they were all closed and wouldn’t dry out. This isn’t a big issue and they probably closed just fine and won’t dry out. Even with the defective caps, I don’t think it’s worth taking a star away, as they all wrote nicely and all 12 were delivered. Great value, even at the price they are now.

It deserves a place on your desk and in your junk drawer
I love these things for a lot of day to day stuff: taking notes on a scratch pad (to-do lists and phone call notes at work), writing checks, signing letters, addressing envelopes. I used to like ultra fine point pens and 0.5mm lead, but as I've gotten older I've come to appreciate medium point and even thicker. I especially prefer to sign my name with a thick point.

Not only a teachers favorite pen, but also a flight attendants favorite pen!
I love my paper mate flair pens! They are my go to, every day pen. I actually give these flair pens out as gift to servers, bartenders, flight attendants, pilots, doctors, nurses, receptionists, etc. They love them. When I am at a doctors office and I fill out documents, I always use my flair pen, because the ink dries quickly and does not bleed through. Perfect!

Feel a level of confidence in your writing
I like the comfortable hold of this instrument. Also the bold print, bold color, that it offers, and ink seems to last a good while. I have found no “bleeding” of the ink I use no other writing instrument.
