MoonBlaze Fire Poi

I've been using these heads for 5 years now and they don't even seem that worn down. I've put them through hell, from beaches to rain spins and more. I've wacked them on concrete, tossed them at walls, and have had plenty of mid-air head collisions. I've spun them for hours on end at fire festivals, redipping immediately after going out without any cool-down period. They are pretty hefty, but not heavy by any means. The burn time averages 5-8 minutes depending on aggressiveness, which is quite long. The fire is pretty big, but not so much as to be unwieldy. Fuel seems to wich very well, no sign of lop-sided burns. The head hardware is pretty minimal and out of the way (less chance for metal burns) and has held up great. The ONLY gripe I have is in the inferior quality of the ball-chain tether, which broke mid-spin during an orbital. Thankfully the head shot straight down, so no issues were had. This is a problem with all ball-chains, so it's not due to poor material choice per se. I recommend replacing the tether with technora to nearly eliminate the chance of metal burns, though if you like the chain weight then linked chain is much more durable.

After a few uses, the chains began to rust. The product would be better if the chains were stainless steel. They started rusting after the first use. After several uses and hanging in the garage, the chains have totally rusted. I would not trust them now not to fly apart in use. These chains are meant to be exposed to flames and a lot of force, they should not start rusting after a few uses and being hung in a garage.

This is a gift for a young friend. He picked it out, so I guess it works well and draws attention to his performance. He chose it on the recommendation of a friend.

I love this set of poi. I originally did not like the chains they came with and was going to swap them out. However once I practiced with them for a bit, I would change nothing.

Nice long burning fist, ball chains that don't tangle easily, and leather single loops. Looove this setup!! My set got stolen and I'm probably gonna try to rebuy the same setup.Oh yea.. Great price compared to other wicks.

These poi are well constructed and the length is perfect for me; I'm 6'. I give this product a 5/5 star rating and recommend them to anyone who is serious about spinning fire.

I was leary buying this for my son, but he really wanted it.He was more excited about it than any other gift & he is reallygood too.
