I have multiple high end home theater receivers which cost hundreds to thousands of dollars which sound better than this mini amp but for under $50 this amplifier definately doesn't dissappoint. It produces plenty of volume driving my fairly cheap bookshelf speakers and as long as the quality holds up I will be happy with this purchase. Only negative I have was pointed out by another reviewer, white noise produced at little to no volume. It doesn't seem to be noticeable at normal listening levels, so not a big deal considering the price of the item.
