I bought a King C. Gillette Cordless Beard Trimmer one year ago, and it worked wonderfully during the year. However, last week it stopped working and would not recharge. I checked the manual and the product specified that it had a two year warranty. I immediately googled Gillette customer service and got the phone number. I called the number and after a short wait, I was connected with a very helpful woman. I explained the problem and she suggested some fix options, but none of them worked. She put me on hold for a few minutes, and then said that she connected with the return department, and that they would send me a new trimmer, at no cost. I gave her my contact information, and the return department sent me a request for proof of purchase. Fortunately, I bought the original trimmer on Amazon and I was able to find the original purchase order, which I copied. I sent a copy of the purchase order and within a day got confirmation that a new trimmer was in transit. Yesterday, I received the new trimmer, and it worked perfectly. Thank you Gillette.

Replaced my older trimmer with this one and so far I love it . Love the dial to adjust the height and rechargeable battery so far holds a long charge.

Does what it said it would.

I was skeptical of this trimmer at first when I saw it but it's price was attractive enough that I decided to take the plunge. Glad I did. I love it. Normally having to deal with a bunch of heads and guards is a little annoying for me I'm very much the grab it and use it kind of guy. The adjustable dial on this thing is super handy and I've had no issues with the trimmer pulling hairs. Works great grab one if you want to reduce that bathroom clutter.

If I could give this half a star I would. I usually don’t write reviews but had to for this absolute waste of money. The battery life on this product isn’t just laughable it is downright borderline unusable. Charge for two hours and watch as this absolutely worthless product starts dying midway through a shaving session. Not only that, but heaven forbid you don’t use the damn thing for any more than one day and discover it to be completely dead at the worst moments. Couple that with a charging cable that is shorter than a mayfly’s life cycle and you have an utterly useless shaver. I had a Norelco shaver for years that I had to replace. That thing STILL has a charge after not using it for nearly 8 months. This thing? Give it 8 minutes and it will pitifully wind down and become exactly what it is: useless. Don’t bother with this waste of money. Do yourself the favor, invest in a better razor and let companies like this know how worthless their products really are.

This thing holds a charge for a long time. Cuts right through heavy, wiry whiskers! I'be usex it a long time now.

I did my research on a new trimmer and this one had great reviews except for the battery life. I dismissed it because I really only trim my beard once a month and figured I wouldn't drain the battery as fast as others, I was was wrong. It seems like every time I use it no matter how long I had it on the charger it seems to die while I'm using it. It's a shame too because it seems to be made really well. All in all I would have picked something else.

Not having used high tech on my beard, I thought I'd try this Gillette model. Once charged it was ready to go. It does take getting used to in terms of getting the right length of beard hair your desire and to ensure the right angle to hold the razor. I recommend washing and drying the beard before using the razor. Cuts are even length and clean up the roguh edges. The whole kit comes in a nice zip bag. The unit can be charged with a simple USB connection. Very convenient.

Average battery life, blade isn't as sharp as the previous model and you cannot use it while it's on charge which is very inconvenient compared to the older model which you can. Spend abit more and buy the model up.

Almost 6 months of using, sharp blades, good battery life and above all that still working!!

I travel a lot with this and its been working great. Long battery life. So far it has stayed sharp with no hair pulling. I keep my beard fairly short. Make sure the attachment comb is secured properly before use (that was a hello moment with one clean shaven line on my face). Also, I learned to pull the head off to clean after a couple of uses as some trimmings can slip inside. Very easy to clean with included brush.
