Pretty and durable in deed
Pretty black case.Durable is indeed and protections from any angles and back is indeed good guard.Battery holding is pretty good. I wanted to take a moment to mention the issues regarding the battery stopped holding or won’t charge with the max capacity; I can’t charge mine to max 4th light, it won’t go all night long. The issue was the night before I used it till the last one light was empty, I knew it might triggered this issue, I noticed. It won’t be matter, but it does for most rechargeable chases. Here the tip to fix it: loose your phone from the case completely or just loose it out from the charging connector. Then hold the case power and count it to 10-15 second, and release your hand. After that, push your phone to back in well, and press and hold the case power to charge for 3-5 second. Then plug with wall-charger adaptor. I am sure it will reset the case power and will works like before.I hope it could help someone reading it.Case needs somehow a different colors also made material. This one is a bit slippery in hand.Other that that, it is still pretty good case. I will write more in the future as I have been using it.Peace guys.

Great Cases
I have purchased 3 or 4 alphatronix cases in the last 5 years or so. They have been great, reasonably priced, and hold up well minus one I had that had issues sooner than the others. They do offer extended warranties though which is great - I usually just forget I signed up for them. Stores a full extra phone charge so I can go a day if I have to without charging usually. Great protective case as well, they have withstood many drops

Good “Case”, TERRIBLE battery backup
I had high hopes. Holds the phone tight, and I nlike others, has a raised edge on front to protect the screen, a little extra around the rear camera for protection there. Very grippy, easy to hold, and not too bulky or thick. So, the case as a “case” isn’t bad at all. However, as a charging device / backup battery…. This sucks. Went through reviews and I’m not the only one. Never stays on and won’t fully charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Once turned on, the Alpatronix charges some for about 10 minutes or so, but stops for no reason or warning. Still plenty of battery. Turn back on, will charge 10% sometimes 20% and stop again. Over and over, it just won’t charge the phone. Only a little here and there. This is unbelievably frustrating.I also ordered a Mophie, Runsy, and MaxBear to compare and use in various locations. None of those really hold the iPhone 12 Pro Max quite as well as the Alpatronix, and don’t have the raised edges I like, but at least when those are on, they stay on until the phone is charged or I turn them off.I am too disappointed to want a replacement as Indont feel it would be any better. There are so many other reviews saying theirs do the same thing. I may truly and exchange it. Or not…. I am keeping the Runsy, Mophie, and MaxBear to leave in my work vehicles and computer bag. At least I know they will give me a full charge without having to babysit the power button. At the time of this review, I have had all four cases just over a week, and have used all four each day to compare. The Alpatronix is my least favorite charging device, but favorite case.

Works as advertised, though with a few caveats.
This little case was bought for my iPhone 12 mini, to get me through the day on an aging battery. Works as it should, and you can see the rough battery percentage left on the pack with the little leds on the back of the case. Fits like a glove for my phone and no issues with the install. Also has wireless charging so I’m able to still use all the wireless chargers I have which is a plus.Downsides. The case isn’t the most durable in the world, as the back of the case already has deep scratches from where it has rubbed against things in my pocket, and from a drop it encountered on my gravel driveway. The other downside is with the charging. If the case is fully charged but the phone is not and you want to make sure it is topped off (both phone and case) wireless charging has issues. It will stop charging randomly when wirelessly charging if the case is topped off, leaving the phone not completely charged. It does not do this when connected to a wired charger or when the battery on the case is not all the way charged. Why it does this is hard to say, but have encountered this a few times when I wanted both the phone and case to be completely charged before heading out for the day.Overall it works well, and I haven’t had any major issues with it. The case has been able to keep my phone charged for the whole day when I can’t get to a charger, and will continue to use it daily.

Neat device
This is a neat little device, holds about 2 full charges on iPhone 13 mini so I can get all day use of the phone when travelling. Takes a while to fully charge then you’re all set for another full day

Lasts about a year, lithium battery will bulge and expand. Recycle it soon.
Works OK but lasts about a year. I've had 2 of them. It will recharge your phone so when you're away from a charger you can refresh the phone and keep going. At first I could transfer data through the connector but after is aged a few months it was hit or miss. As you approach a year or so of continuous use, the battery will begin to bulge (failure) and it actually cracks the back of the case. Took them to the recycler before I had any fires.

No more red bar of death in the middle of the day!
Sure, I could shell out a grand for brand new iPhone 16. But I love the size my iPhone 12 mini. Even the 16e is too big. So, I decided to extend the battery on my 12mini with this case. It arrived yesterday and checks all the boxes except one. It keeps the iPhone battery topped up to last the whole day and then some. It charges the extra battery wirelessly via Qi2 on my nightstand at night so that in the morning both iPhone battery and case battery are 100%. But it does not magnetically stick to my nightstand charger. But I have ordered a magsafe sticker for the back of the case for just a few bucks which should fix that. Yes, the phone is now just a bit heavier and a bit thicker, but I dont notice the difference in my pocket. And I don’t have to worry about seeing the dreaded red charge bar at 3pm! To me, that’s a win.
