This backup camera is compatible with my Boss BV755B head unit. No need to wire the from the rear since RCA will provide that. It fits well on the license plate and will only be an issue if you have a button to open the trunk in the way. You will probably need a drill bit and step drill to get a hole big enough to fit the cables though. It's 480p but does the job. Framerate is nice and smooth. I needed to use an extra wire just to reach my power from my reverse light but that's fine. For 20$ this is good value.

Install is simple, plug and play. Even easier when the wiring is already done. The clarity of the image is a little less than desired. Had a cheaper camera that had a better/clearer picture, but that camera only lasted a couple years. We’ll see if this one holds up any longer.

very compact, and does NOT block the top of new york plates! which is very important! plenty of wire left after wiring up for a crossover suv. the image quality sucks but its just enough so you can identify what is behind you, which is the only thing you really need. when you hook up the camera to that tiny little connector you have to make sure it goes in all the way. It has to click into place twice, one soft click and one distinct one. and dont forget to tighten up the screws when your done adjusting the angle.

Bought for our older pickup that didn't have backup camera but we pull trailers with all the time. Works great. Easy to install. Color and camera good quality.

Terrible camera no matter what I try to do it will not power on. Instructions are awful and sucks to install. DO NOT BUY

Great camera but needed a couple of hacks. I had to flip the camera to the bottom of our license plate, so we could operate the latch. Since bolts are on the top of the left cense plate, I had to use a rubber plate holder to hold this camera bracket Therefore I have to flip the camera to keep it correct. There RCA cable is used for ground, so I had to ground the outside shield. After attaching a ground wire to the outside ring of the yellow jack, I electric tape the jack. Then the picture was great. The cable from the head unit to this camera was not provided. Only a short cable that reached from the license plate thru the hatch to my tail light was provided. I already had an RCA and trigger wire cable from the head unit to my brake light.
