Helpful tool
Just what I needed, a great tool for the amateur mechanic. Build quality is very good, easy to download updates and get started. Takes a lot of guess work out of diagnostics.

Good scanner however
Cleared the fault codes I needed to only let down is unable to reset oil service light on ford Kuga,also very limited motorbike manufactures. Good for normal faults but not for everyday shop use.

Works like a charm
At first I purchased the CReader vii+, it had some issues and Best Q advised I return it (the customer service was brilliant).Best Q advised I purchase the more expensive CReader 123X which is slightly more expensive - I bought from Best Q due to their great service and was really happy as this device can be connected via WiFi, scans the car, then downloads the required software.I am just starting to use, but it seems to really help identify the faults (SRS in my case) which will allow me to further narrow down the parts I need to make repairs. It can even clear the fault - although I assume this will return in a few weeks as when mercedes completed a recall the have messed up the ignition switch.Best Q have great servicr and I would say get hold of the CReader 123X as it will download car models on the fly (so helpful).

Best DIY Scan tool
Great bit of kit, using the booklet you can find everything that you would need. live data for my Renault Traffic 2015, as i was having DPF issues, it shows all temperature sensors and DPF soot levels etc. only problem i am having is forcing a Regeneration the equipment says it has the capacity to carry this out but when attempted it says the DPF is too loaded, 53grams. problem being in order to clear this i need to do a regeneration but obviously the kit wont let me.

Avoid slow bulky
Not recommended,Does not reset lights and takes ages to update.Sometimes won’t come on if plugged in one port.Waste of time and money.

Cost and practicality
One thing you should do is shop about I brought the CRP123X for +£30 more than offered on other sites , the unit for the month is excellent love the ability to email out the report and the ability to see how to fix the code that comes up , would love to try a more expensive model on my YouTube channel and see how this one compares
