Mini Knitted Toys: Over 30 cute & easy knitting patterns

Good reference book

I've made a few of the patterns in the book and they turned out so cute. The intention was to give the toys away to my nieces and nephews, but I hate to part with them!

I have several books by Sachiyo Ishii. I haven't made any of the projects in this book yet, but have never been disappointed in any of her directions for projects in the other books (I have all 3 of them). I have read this book. (Hey I read cookbooks too). I can't wait to make the castle, the cats, pandas and penguins. My daughter and I both knit and love Ms. Ishii's books.

I really love making these well written miniatures. This is the best way to use up left over yarn.

Sachiyo Ishii is my favourite knitting designer. I first discovered her when browsing Amazon for knitting books and the moment I saw 'Mini Knitted Safari', I was hooked with her patterns and have been ever since. My name is Mary and I'm 14. Mini Knitted Toys is very different from Mini Knitted Safari, which, all the way through, has a very distinct safari theme. However, Mini Knitted Toys is more of a hodgepodge; mammoths, kittens, budgies, Snow White, cupcakes, fairies, kangaroos, and a hot air balloon … then there are babies dressed as bees and bears, not forgetting the adorable mice complete with autumn coats. And that's no drawback…it makes for a enchanting miscellany with something for everyone. You'll need to know basic knitting skills, but the patterns are extremely easy to follow and carry out. The layout of the pages is very appealing and there are clear instructions for making up your projects. There are also plenty of attractive photos (but not enough to intrude on the book). I'd recommend it to ANYONE who likes knitting small, cute projects. They make perfect gifts that don't take long to make and the patterns are easy to adapt and make your own. I find this book nothing short of outstanding and I hope you will too.

Ich habe bisher alle von Sachiyo Ishiis Büchern gekauft und bin nicht enttäuscht! DIe Ideen sind wirklich niedlich, leicht umzusetzen und alle nur mit zwei Nadeln zu stricken! Es geht sehr schnell und man hat kleine (und ein paar größere) Geschenke für Kinder und sonstige Freunde. Ich habe die Ritterburg ausprobiert, und alles hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Das Ergebnis kann sich meiner Meinung nach schon sehen lassen! Und vor allem: Es macht einfach Spaß.
