I would purchase this JVC unit again.
Make sure to pre purchase your wire adapter and double din install kit for your car model before install. Purchasing the these items made install very easy. For your DVD you can run the wire to parking brake or just run it to ground or what I did was just utilized a standard relay. Very happy with the quality and Apple Car play works perfectly. Only negative is if you want your steering wheel controls to work you must purchase additionl parts. Based on the price of the extra kit it was worth it for only steering wheel volume controls.

Nice unit (was) made it 2.5 months
Update, volume controll, power and menu touch buttons do not work anymore. Sometimes if you completely shut the vehicle off and re start it they will work but sometimes they don't. Now to see if I can send it back for a refund... Seems good so far. The blue tooth volume and nav voice seem quiet but I might need to fiddle with the settings. Wire the "park signal" to ground if your car dont have that. Back up camera works good to

Great Radio Poor Phone Quality
I love this radio. It meshes very well with Android Auto. The quality of phone conversations is aweful. Most people tell me they can't here me and the mic is mounted on the dash right in front of me. I wish it had a physical volume knob, when your in a hurry to turn down the volume it can be rough trying to hit that tiny spot on the touch screen. I would buy this radio again but I might also search for one that has better phone call capabilities.

Always stick with quality electronics. Great product plays CD and DVD well with outputs for additional sound and screens plus an input and power for rear view camera if you choose to install one. So far it's great with great options and with the mounting kit for the car looks almost factory.

Quality head unit with an OEM look
Looks OEM in my 2006 Subaru Outback. Sounds great and is super responsive. Worth paying the extra cash

Purchased this for a customer. She has a 2008 Tahoe with rear entertainment system. Dhe wanted something she could keep her DVD player with and get some more “boom” from the speakers. This worked amazing! Dont forget to get the wiring harness youll need too!

Get a better unit
This product is very buggy. It disconnects power over hard bumps. It cannot keep time. Apple play is buggy, drops at random and doesn’t connect blue tooth consistently. Mic that came with the system doesn’t work. Spend a little more and get a higher quality system.

Issues after 3 years
3 year review. During the time the unit had Bluetooth connectivity issues at random. A call would come in and the unit froze and disconnected several times. But now the screen is completely unresponsive doesn’t work. It goes crazy raising the volume clicking on everything it can on its own. Tryed reseting it with a small needle. (Dint work) Had to put it down getting a new one
