TELESIN Backpack Strap Mount for GoPro Hero 13/12/11/10/9/8/7/6/5/Max, DJI OSMO Action, Insta360, with Adjustable Shoulder Pad and J Hook, Strap Holder Attachment System, Action Camera Accessories

The design of this mount is fairly basic but it's well made and the velcro keeps it held very securely. It gives a great viewpoint mounted to a rucksack, or can be used on a belt or any other strap of that size. I've used it on long motorbike trips and it's stayed stable throughout. Try mounting your GoPro upside down if you can't get the angle you want.

I don't have a chin mount on my favourite motorbike helmet, as it would ruin the aesthetic, so when I commute with that helmet, I sometimes use this on my rucksack (I also have the Telesin neck mount - also excellent) which gives very much the same perspective. But you do lose the ability to record footage of where you are looking (I like to abuse eejits who use their phone behind the wheel) I've primarily used this with a GoPro Hero 10, more than my Insta 360 X3 (which would probably alleviate much of the issue of losing out on footage when you turn your head or look at something specific). I should explore that a little more, but the 360 camera will standout more than the GoPro. It's easy to attach and seems very durable and well engineered. No matter how tight I strap it, it does slide down over time, but I have something that protrudes slightly on the strap which stops this going too far and ensure the footage remains relevant. Glad I bought it, but only used with a specific helmet in my itinery.

Great for attaching my go pro to either my ruck sack or my wing when diving.

Quality of product itself is good but I found it useless. When you attach it on any of your backpack or shoulder bag you will see that shots are not good and camera is not pointing where you want. Better to use just hand or chest band if you need free hands.

The grip on this is very good - the velcro is strong and the anti-slip "hooks" keep the mount in place great. The only thing is, your footage is likely to be facing off to the side slightly, depending on how your rucksack fits. Although it made for a not-entirely-hands-free experience, I was able to catch what I needed to by holding my rucksack strap as I walked which was not a totally unnatural thing to do. I'm not sure the manufacturer can really do anything about this slight inconvenience, without having to implement some form of omni-directional mount as opposed to the standard up/down mount that most of these accessories have. Easy to fit my Osmo Action 4 to using standard screw connectors.

I bought this so that I wasn’t always holding the GoPro, and so that it would be out of my bag so I’d be more likely to use it. This works very well. It stayed in place on my rucksack strap and i could tap it to take photos or leave it recording to see my point of view without having to keep getting it out of the bag. Looks less silly than having it on your head
