Love this little train. Bought it to run around underneath my toddler themed xmas tree for my 14 month old grandson. He absolutely loves it and falls asleep for his afternoon nap watching it go round. It has an old fashioned charm, with it's authentic steam sound, and I love the xmas songs!

Absolutely love this Christmas musical train ,highly recommend you will not be disappointed or the children, i have not seen another one thats actually build for kids , large enough in size, strong and sturdy , excellent music quality which changes as train moves around the track , can take little hands playing with it , all 3 toddlers Absolutely love it and spend ages watching an playing with this fantastic price train , definitely one of my best buys from Amazon .

Good sturdy train for my three year old to play with.Not big enough to go around the tree but I suppose you could buy a second set and join them. Makes train noises and sings Christmas songs.Not sure why it comes with cactus decorations though instead of Xmas trees.

The train set was delightful. Very sturdy for small hands. The set is beautifully designed. The little train is delightful with engine noises and merry Christmas song and Santa. Would definitely recommend. Excellent value for money. Big thanks granddaughter loved it.

This is a very good Christmas train track for a child to play with, and/or to go around the bottom of the tree. Its chunky and sturdy. Its easy to assemble and hasn't got loads of little bits. Its got red and green flashing lights on top of the engine, its goes, 'toot, toot, chuff, chuff', then, 'ho ho merry Christmas!' Then, 'jingle bells...,' then, 'we wish you a merry Christmas...,' as it goes round. Its got two little removable parcels (not too small, not a choking hazard) in one of the trucks. There's no really small bits, but it does state age 3 plus to be on the safe side. It takes 3 AA batteries. I'm very, very pleased with it.

Love, love, love -Such an amazing train set, very Christmasy and just ideal for the Christmas period. It got us all in the Christmas mood ,listening to the songs, especially our Grandson, who just loved it. He couldn't stop playing with it.. The price is amazing value too.It has now been put underneath the Christmas tree, so will be brought out every year.Great!

Our first polar express train lasted minutes with my two young children. Just was not suitable for my two year old but then I purchased this one and was overjoyed with happiness as were my children. Best Xmas toy ever! Very robust for young hands. Lasted weeks on end using the same batteries and it was going non stop. We actually can't wait to get it out again this Xmas! Fitted perfectly around our tree too.

I wish I had read more of the reviews ,this is a nice train set but I am surprised it can be sold in the UK especially for age 3 and over .The battery compartment does not have a screw to keep the batteries safely in place they fall out very easily and batteries are not safe for toddlers .I am having to return this unfortunately if the battery compartment was more secure this would be a great set but should not be sold as suitable for young children

I purchased this Christmas train set for my 2 year old granddaughter to play with when she came for the holidays. Pretty durable since she kept caring the train around with her. We put the train around our birch tree inside. Her mother had one of these musical trains when she was little so thought it would be neat to keep the tradition going. I purchased because of the price ($12) in case she did break the train while playing. She enjoyed watching the train go around and we all enjoyed the Christmas music. Easy to start with a push of the button on top so she was able to start the train when she wanted too. We helped put it on the tracks but train stayed on as it went around. Music doesn't turn off but it was not annoying to us. As she gets bigger we'll get her a better train like we got her 5 yr old brother. Naturally she wanted to take home with her. I'll purchase a new one next year.

It is a very cute little train, easy to put together and perfect for our little Christmas tree. My kids really like it and it plays cute Christmas songs.

I wanted something that would fit in with my Christmas village if I wished but something that the grandkids could play with as well......and didn’t cost a small fortune. This is perfect! Sturdy and kid friendly! The only things I would suggest is more tracks and a way to run the train without the music. All in all, a great little set!

The media could not be loaded. I bought two of these trains to make it go around the whole Christmas tree for our twin two year old on Christmas morning! Great, durable, cute. Really get into the spirit with this train! Just make sure when you install the tracks together they are pressed down completely or the train will derail (common sense). This train is a little on the loud side with no volume control option but I liked it and recommend. My absolute only down fall to this is the batteries part is like a little clip so my two year olds can figure out how to unclip it and batteries come out, so i would say if it needed an improvement at all, it would be that should be a screw so they can't disassemble it. Still, 5 stars! 100% recommended!

Battery operated train moves on track, lights up, talks and sings 2 Christmas songs- We wish You A Merry Christmas and Jingle Bells. Our granddaughter is going to love this!
