j'avais acheté le modèle moins cher sans boîtier et ca fonctionnait.. avec celui-ci j'ai pu comparer les deux versions et j'ai remarqué un signal/bruit meilleur de 5 @ 7db avec la même antenne.. noter que le boîtier peinturé n'a pas de contact avec le connecteur "sma" et donc, j'ai sablé le trou du "sma" de sorte que le boîtier soit mise à la masse via le connecteur (la différence est négligeable, environ 2db) mais ça me semblait important.. naturellement, j'aurais dû acheter celui-ci au tout début.. il n'est pas étanche mais le circuit interne amélioré est plus performant (même sans le boîtier)..

I used this balun as an unun for my random length (I chose 119 feet based on my research) long wire antenna and my Eton Elite 750 shortwave receiver. I compared it to the telescoping unit antenna on several bands and the long wire antenna through the Balun One Nine V2 had superior reception every time. It also was better on FM reception. I was cautioned that this is for receiving only and the Balun One Nine V2 CANNOT be used for transmitting, if you're a HAM looking at it for that purpose. I'm very satisfied and glad that I didn't choose one of the many balun kits available online. I just attached it to my antenna wire, ground wire, and coax on the other side and I was on my way. I used a LeMotech ABS Plastic Dustproof Waterproof IP65 Junction Box (5.9" x 5.9" x 2.8"), available on Amazon, to put the balun into for weatherproofing. Search the questions on this product for a good description on which lug is ground. Again, it works really well.

Excelente para recepción (no transmita con el) supera a varias antenas que probé en mi radio de onda corta, compre una extensión electrica de 10 metros, corte los extremos, dividí los cables y se los coloqué a este Balun, lo coloqué en V con mástil a 5 metros. Soy de Ciudad grande, no se oía gran cosa más que en la noche, con este artefacto a todas horas se escucha radio de varias partes del mundo. Muy bien.
