Sitting On Cloud 9!!
This ultra sleek LTE Module has truly taken my awesome BlackVue dash camera setup to the next level of impressiveness, with superb functionality! It delivers a welcomed cloud feature to my dual camera powerhouse. It is easy to setup and install, being virtually undetected when secured onto the windshield. Plus, it’s super easy to connect and flawlessly fit in with an already amazing surveillance package. In addition to gifting me terrific space for future camera recordings, I love the peace of mind I get from knowing my recordings are automatically store in the clouds; in the event I am unable or unavailable todo so: like when in parking mode.Plus, the connectivity feature is topnotch, and it also serves as the ultimate mobile hotspot for up to five different devices!

Works and Easy to Install
Not sure why others have a hard time Installing this. I already have T-Mobile and simply added a "Data only SIM" for tablets to my account. 2GB and then unlimited 3G speeds once I reach the bandwidth cap. Not bad...I installed this on a DR900X 2CH. My advice when installing this is to set it up away from your home Wifi. Drive down the street or something. Simply setup Cloud connect settings in the app and choose Third Party SIM. Select either T-Mobile or ATT and the APN will automatically be entered. Once you do that it may take a couple minutes and then you're online. So easy.I drove home and it disconnected and joined my home wifi no problem. Drove away and it connected to the LTE module within 30 seconds. I love that since I didn't want it to eat through my 2GB on T-Mobile.There's Youtube videos online too for those insisting this doesn't work. Blackvue is indeed expensive but I think the demographic of users they target are on the more tech savvy side and the extra features such as the LTE module and battery pack aren't for everyone to install.

Would not work for AT&T
Not happy with this product. At&t can’t seem to get my sim card registered to this device. Have spent hours on the phone with At&t and blackvue. Will return soon if I can’t get it working.Update: At&t sent me a second sim card replacing the other one. They have now been able to activate it using the IMEI number but the unit still does not work. I have spent countless hours on the phone with AT&T and Blackvue and between the two of them no one seems to know how to solve the issue. Blackvue’s solution was to email a screen shot of my sim card setup screen so they could send it to level 2 tech support and after that they’d email me back. I about lost it. You can not efficiently troubleshoot a non working device via email. Needless to say, Amazon will be getting this unit back. The camera will stay intalled but the module I am done with! It sucks because the only reason I spent that much money on that camera was because of the LTE module.Update #2 - i have returned this product! After several more hours on several more calls to AT&T i was told after each call it was set up and good to go. Not a single time were they right. The second to last call said they set up as voice and not data which pissed me off to no extent because i couldn’t have been any clearer with previous tech support people that it was supposed to he data only. Then she told me it was not attached to my family plan that it was set up wrong. Again, it was supposedly done this way and never was. She had to get with her manager to have them switch it to daya only and add to my family shared plan. Get home, try it out still doesn’t work. Call the next day, I am told by someone else i needed a stand alone data plan that at it’s cheapest was $60 a month. I wasn’t going to agree to that especially since no one seemed to know what the heck they were talking about. Needless to say, the LTE module got returned and AT&T and their horrible customer service are on their way out too.

AT&T is definitely not compatible but T-M is.
Love the 900X but I lost confidence when I was missing footage when I left my car at the dealership. So I bought a Tamper-proof and the CM100. I thought I was bulletproof until I went to AT&T for a SIM card and had the worse time ever. I couldn’t connect to the cloud and went multiple times from connecting the IMEI on their end to trying new SIM cards but nothing was fix. The prepaid 5gb or the LTE plan didn’t work so don’t bother. I went to T-Mobile and got the prepaid 5gb hoping that’ll fix it. After a scares of not connecting to the cloud again I realize I had an update and that fix the issue! So if you are having problems just go to T-mobile. I used the $20/5GB Pre paid plan. Also I was fully updated when I was trying for AT&T so no that wasn’t the issue.

Provides stable LTE connection
Bought this to provide LTE capabilities to my BlackVue DR900X-Plus 2CH. Although the listing says CM100 LTE, I actually received a CM100G LTE which still worked with my camera. I popped in a T-Mobile sim card with a hotspot data only plan, connected the module to the usb port in my camera, walked through setup in the BlackVue app, and it worked without any issues. Now, my BlackVue DR900X-Plus is cloud connected all the time and serves as a hotspot for any devices I have in my car that need cellular connection. Recently spent all day running errands and the LTE connection never dropped or hiccuped. Well worth the money!

My FIX for AT&T
FIX for anyone that is going to use AT&T: The fix for mine was the setup on the SIM, the rep for AT&T set my SIM as a Tablet data plan he couldnt setup the SIM with the IMEI from the module in the store.. That will not work. I contacted AT&T to cancel my SIM and when they transferred me to the "SAVE" department, the nice lady was able to correct my problem. She went into my account and updated the SIM to match the IMEI number on the CMLITE Module. this changes the data plan from a $20 unlimited plan to $25 "Mobile Hotspot and Laptop Connect 15GB". As soon as she changed the IMEI my module connected within mins. Great learning experience to anyone else having this problem. the APN info i used was "phone" and my AT&T username and password.
