Better now
Update to the note - So far so good. The replacement battery has been working just fine. Bought it in April, went to use it 4 months later and it was completely dead. No lights on the indicator. Charger doesn't even recognize that its connected. Note - After seeing my review, the seller did reach out to me for troubleshooting and ended up sending me a replacement. Hoping for better luck with the new battery.

Problem fixed..Rescinding last review
Recap: I would like to rescind the last submission: You can see below I was not happy with the product and I decided to return it and try it one more time. I received a replacement battery and in true Amazon form, it went very well and the new battery is perfect..I got through my whole yard with NO issues…Thank you to everyone. .I bought this for a second battery on the lawnmower and even after charging and recharging to see if the battery memory got better, It didn’t.. I do not recommend this as a replacement. If you have anything that pulls a decent load you might want to go another route….

A great spare rechargeable battery
Update: I had to call the seller/company for a minor issue and Nina was outstanding! The quick response and emails to assist me in my matter shows me how great their customer service is. I will definitely be purchasing more from this seller! purchased this battery to be a backup battery for my greenworks lawn equipment and so far this battery has done an excellent job on charging and performance. The battery has indicator strength lights to let you know how much battery strength is currently available. The battery easily charges in the Greenworks lithium charger, so far so good!

Great price
I bought pack of 2 40V, 6AH mower batteries. Great price compared with others. The state of charge not quite 6AH. I have roughly 1/3 acre and need at least 3 batteries to mow each time.

Waste of money. Absolute junk!
This cheap battery is not worthless. Lasted less than a year in very light usage.

So far it is great.
So far this battery is as good as the four AH battery that came with my 19 inch cordless 2-in-1 Greenworks lawn mower. Each battery lasts for approximately 30 minutes so I can mow for an hour at a time using both batteries. I always make sure to charge both batteries until two green display lights are flashing before storing the batteries for the next time I use them. The batteries then charge up to full quite quickly when I need to use them. I can then mow for one and one-half hours in one day with a short break in between the second and third charge. This way I can do my whole lawn in two days for a total of six battery charges. I just hope the Greenworks lawn mower will last for at least three years (it has a three year warranty).

Replaced dead battery for mower. Worked great after charge - still going strong.

Good for 30-ish minutes after 2 mowings
Second edit - Yesterday, I mowed the lawn in the coolest temperature since my original bad experience with this battery. I was able to easily complete my back yard with maybe 30% battery life to spare (it's hard to say, as there are only 4 light indicators for battery power remaining). It definitely appears that high temperatures (TN) have a more adverse effect on this battery than they do on the original manufacturer's battery. Edit - While I am still displeased with this battery, here are two points to change my rating from a 1 to a 2 star: 1) I used the battery again since my review, and was able to eke out a few more minutes. Perhaps this battery discharges faster when not in use. I got closer to thirty minutes (maybe 28?) this time, which is still unacceptable for a new battery. The outdoor temperature was a little cooler, so that may have contributed to the difference. 2) Customer service was quick to reach out to me about the issue. While this doesn't change the performance of the battery, it does make me feel better about the company. I purchased this when it was on sale around Cyber Monday. I was a little nervous about doing so, because I knew I wouldn't be able to do a full mowing until several months had passed. I charged it shortly after receiving it. I installed it, and simply tested it to make sure that it would start my mower (Greenworks 40V 17" - MO40B411). It started fine, so that was somewhat reassuring. I mowed my lawn today for the third time since purchasing this battery. I still have the original battery (the mower+battery were originally purchased in June of 2021), and it works pretty well. I can mow for about 40-45 minutes if the grass isn't overgrown, and that is *almost* enough to finish the job. I purchased this as a backup to be able to easily finish in one session (in other words, to take away the need to charge a battery before finishing the mowing). The original battery hadn't died yet, but I decided to switch over to this newer one (the one that I am reviewing) about halfway through. It only lasted about 20-25 minutes, and I was unable to finish mowing. I would have just put the original one back in, but it had started to rain. To only have gotten 2 satisfactory mowings in while using this battery is unacceptable. The little instruction pamphlet says that it has 300-500 discharge cycles of use. If I can't figure out the warranty situation, then I guess I'll try to time my mowing so that I use this junky battery for the final 15 minutes of mowing.
