These were so useful for the holiday season for a cute project I wanted to do with my family since I was hosting Christmas Eve. I've seen kits out there where you can make wishes and hang them on the tree yet they were all so expensive and were for smaller groups of people. I ordered these ornaments, got some pretty paper from Papyrus, a stack of pencils and some red ribbon. Everyone sat together and we all wrote our Christmas wish on the paper, folded it up and hung it on my tree. It was such a lovely idea at a fraction of the price of the kits and I've saved them for next year because they are sturdy and can be reused again and again. None of them arrived cracked or damaged and they were super easy to snap shut and open.

Great for making bath bombs!
These plastic molds worked out great. I originally purchased a set of metal ones and, while they also worked well, they only came three to a package for about the same price. We quickly found that the secret to making bath bombs that hold their shape is to let them dry overnight in the half shell; otherwise they start to collapse and flatten at the bottom. Having twelve meant that we could make a larger batch at a time. My 11 year old daughter was able to make them on her own, no problem. They were a huge hit at her school’s Christmas fair and sold out in a few hours! Shipping was fast, which meant we were able to get them completed in time for the fair. They are pretty sturdy and I’ve kept them to use for next time. A fun and useful craft project for teens and tweens. Highly recommend!

Good, but chipped during shipping
Sized as pictured. Worked out perfectly for our purposes (we used them to encase the give-a-ways for a birthday party). We ordered three packs and about two of the molds per each pack were slightly chipped on the edges but still usable. Perhaps with better packaging they would be less likely to chip.

I use these in a bath bomb class I teach and love them.
I teach bath bomb classes in which my students make and take 3 bath bombs during the 1.5 hour class. Using these inexpensive molds allows my students to take them with them; this ensures that they can get their bombs home safely and that they can reuse the molds! Obviously plastic molds will not have the durability that stainless steel molds do (which I use for making bath bombs in bulk), but these do hold up quite well. Be gentle with them, don't "pry" on the tabs, etc. Just wash and reuse. I just ordered a 9th set of these!

Used these for chocolate ball dessert!
I got the 100mm size to make chocolate balls. It is a little dessert thing where you make these spherical chocolate shells and put them over ice cream, then melt them away with hot sauce revealing the inside. My daughter saw it on the internet and HAD to have me try and make it. The 100mm size is the same size of a standard softball. I used Callebaut semi-sweet callets (52%). A couple of stinkers didn’t want to come out of the bottom half, so I popped them in the freezer for like 15 minutes and that worked (although one got a crack which I melted together with a lighter! ha ha!) I did buy an infrared thermometer "gun" for this …so cool!! Not sure I could temper correctly without it, though you may be better at it than I am!! I put my filled balls in a muffin tin in the fridge, so the didn't roll around in my fridge. I put a sheet of press-n-seal on it first and it really helped keeping them where I wanted them. Super cool dessert. Impressive presentation for what is I guess a sundae! Leave it to me to make hours of work for myself over a sundae! Post a comment if you want more info on the dessert or have trouble...
