Squad Goggles with ChromaPop Lens – Snow Goggles with Replaceable Lens for Skiing & Snowboarding – for Men & Women

These come with two lenses. A low visibility lense and a high visibility lense. The low vis is the yellow/red/orange one that gets used most of the time. The high vis lense is the one that looks like a reflective mirror and is mainly used when it's very sunny and the sun is in your face. Decent field of view. Fits well, if not somewhat tight. Even on the loosest setting, they barely fit over my small helmet. But I suppose that's good so they don't fall off easily. Changing the lenses requires some patience and elbow grease. But again, better tight than loose. No sunburns with them.

My 35-year old Smith ski goggles disintegrated in my hands a few days before my trip to Mammoth last month. I needed a pair fast, but I wanted quality. I went with these and I wasn't disappointed. The level of tint is perfect. These have a wide field of view, and everything was very clear. They're reasonably lightweight, and durable. I did 48 miles, almost nine miles vertical, of alpine skiing over three days, in spring-like conditions, but with very good coverage. I hadn't skied for over 10 years, but didn't fall once.

Very pleased, nice goggles

I use these goggles for downhill mountain biking with a full-face bike helmet (Smith helmet), and it fits well, works great. Awesome visibility. I'm in my 50's and I don't ski or have ever bought ski-type goggles before. Smith is a somewhat expensive brand, but you get what you pay for. I'm a believer in buying something once and making it last, so I don't mind a little extra cost if it'll last. And I think these will. My Smith helmet I got on eBay new and saved around 60% off retail, so I do try to find a bargain once in a while. Recommend.

We purchased a another set of these googles, except this time they were with the Sun Green Lens. My wife can get migraines and out on the water doing water sports can be a little hard on her with the glare from the sun. The Sun Green Lens are the lowest VLT (9% light allowed thru the lens) they offer. Plenty of light comes thru on bright days and the ChromaPop really does give it lots of definition for water sports (ie seeing the waves etc). After seeing what it can do, I want the same lens for my set of googles.

Dec 2023 timeframe I bought "SMITH Optics Squad XL Unisex Snow Winter Goggles" on Amazon and the same item in a local store and it turned out BOTH had this sticky gooey stuff on the head band. Should be some silicon in the headband but some chemical is missing and it never hardened it seems like. Sticky is fine but it peels off and gets on everything including helmet, hair, jacket, hands, etc. This is a great goggle and I hope SMITH will fix this issue. So just inquire before you buy it to make sure the one you have does not have this issue and make sure to buy one with free returns just in case. It's easy to check before you go skiing make sure to feel the inside of the head band and make sure the sticky stuff does not come off. Had no issue returning mine and I love the SMITH products.

They’re okay goggles. I don’t know if they’re worth $150… Maybe $60 at most, I just don’t see what makes them cost so much. I had a different pair of Smith goggles that were way cheaper and pretty much the same quality, just slightly different style. These ones are way overpriced imo

l'acquisto sostituisce una maschera uguale con lente diversa, in accoppiata con un caschetto smith la calzata, per il mio viso, è perfetta ed il colore della lente provata con pieno sole primaverile, e cielo velato/nuvoloso mi ha soddisfatto in pieno. ottimo acquisto
