Comfort CoolThumb CMC Splint, Black

My husband has arthritis in his wrist and thumb and has some weakness and pain. This wrist brace has provided very good support and relief. My daughter-in-law is a nurse, at a PT office, and recommended this brace as a cost effective alternative. Would definitely recommend and purchase again.

Not that cool. Allows for too much thumb movement.

I like everything about this splint except for the price. It seems excessive compared to others. However, it does an excellent job and is very comfortable. It does wear out around the thumb eventually, but that is probably because I wear it every single day. I would definitely recommend this and have purchased several.

Must fit snug to hold the thumb in place. Measure correctly. I had a world famous hand surgeon and author of five hand surgery books. He always fitted patients with this. It doesn’t get in the way when you are wearing it. Can be washed but don’t put it in the dryer. If your doc carry’s this in the office, Medicare will pay for it. It

I sleep in it to keep from bending the two thumb joints. Does not restrict my wrist.

I ordered the left thumb restriction splint but was sent the wrist and thumb restriction splint but I decided to keep it. Not a good idea. The latter is heavier and builds up too much heat. Rarely wear it.
