Doctor Who Exploding Tardis 59 x 29 1/2 Inches Beach Towel

I’ve had this towel for almost six years and it hasn’t fallen apart yet. Love that it’s a subtle way to show you’re a doctor who fan!

I like that this Dr. Who towel is very useful as well as being a Dr. item. I gave it to a friend who loves Dr. who episodes and collectables for his birthday an he likes it.

I ordered this as a gift to my wife who is a whovian threw and threw. I will await to see if she is suprised for christmas.

This is a wonderful towel, you can use it to lie on, hide your naked body as you changed into a swimsuit, dry yourself off, mop sweat and tears from your face, use it to cover your lower or upper body if someone steals your pants, trousers or top, get a stick and use it as a small bag, cover yourself with it if you lack a blanket, roll it up and use it as a pillow, hang it on the wall as some art, wear it as a cape to pretend you are some evil rotter or superman, have a picnic on it, the uses are endless.

a little more lightweight than I hoped for. if you are a Dr. Who fan--it is COOL. AND, it isn't just a towel--my niece used it as a wall hanging, but planned on using it as a coffee table cover, couch throw, and a curtain. And here, I thought it was just a beach towel...

Many of the reviews are correct in addressing how incredibly thin this towel is. It’s not paper thin, but wow, dang close.However, this is a beach towel, not a towel you use after a shower on a daily basis. You either lay on it or towel off after you get outa the pool, lake, or ocean. So it doesn’t really need to be super absorbent, soft, etc.I have washed it a few times and it hasn’t shrunk, faded, or fallen apart.And it’s Dr. Who….so, win for me!

What matters here is that it looks great. The towel itself is not that great at being a towel (meaning that it's not very absorbent or soft) but for laying on the beach, it does the job and it is gloriously nerdy while doing it.

Even though this image is from ,the day of the doctor, I'm always reminded of the van Gogh episode, especially the museum scene, where he discovers that he is not a failure and what he gave to the world, and that he will be remembered for eternity through his paintings, it always brings a tear to my eye, now I have the perfect travelling/backpacking towel, lightweight and cool :)

Far too thin to be a towel. Very disappointed
