Who orders chocolate bars during a heat wave in Texas?!🤦♀️
I was looking for a good dark chocolate bar with at least 70% cacao and simple ingredients. I came across these chocolate bars and ordered them right away. They were shipped from Washington, so I received them within 5 days. Around this time, we had a heat wave in Texas so sadly, I received the chocolate bars completely melted, even the ice pack inside the box was melted. I popped them in my fridge right away to get them solid again, and they did! However, they were very messy to eat. The chocolate itself was delicious, and I like the company's values, so I'll order them again in the future when the weather cools down.

The Very Best!
This is the best chocolate I've ever tasted and it fits nicely into my food plan/calorie tracking plan. The bars are large -2.8 oz (or 80 grams) so it lasts a long time for me. It has such a rich dark chocolate taste, is organic and is Direct Trade Cacao. It is worth every bit of the price. The quality of this chocolate is nothing like the junk chocolate that is out there in candy bars you get at the grocery store. It truly is a chocolate lovers dream come true.

Surprisingly fruity 80% dark chocolate
There's a lot to commend here. The ethics behind this bar seem solid, and that accounts for the high price. Fairly grown cacao is expensive--it should be a luxury item. This is a simple recipe with quality ingredients, nothing extraneous. The result is a nice looking bar well-sealed, though I prefer paper wrappers for recycling.I really wasn't too keen on the flavor, sorry to say. It amazes me how different chocolate bars with such similar ingredients taste! Turns out I much prefer Panamanian over Dominican cacao. They're not kidding when they give this "Dark cherry notes [with a] blackberry on the finish." This is a very fruity bar, much to the exclusion of the earthier tones (bitterness?) I associate with dark chocolate.I think a lot of people will like this bar, and they are clearly working hard to produce a good product while fairly compensating those who produce it.

Excellent chocolate try several varieties you might be surprised by what you like
This chocolate is made correctly, just 3 ingredients for the 80% dark variety. I enjoyed the rich flavor and did not find it bitter at all. I do however prefer dark chocolate usually 85%. What surprised me was the other flavors I tried. To me Peppermint Crunch did not sound appealing but I loved it. My next favored was the Himalayan Sea Salt at 70% it has just the right mix of some faint sweet set off perfectly by sea salt bite. Burn Maple Crunch was my next most enjoyed. perhaps a guilty pleasure with the sweetness but by no means cloying. A very interesting flavor that didn't come across as just maple. Sea Salt Almond would be my next in order of how much I enjoyed it followed by Coconut, Wild Ginger and Cayenne ( really nice spice!), and lastly Espresso and Cacao nibs. All in all a terrific assortment of flavors.

melted, good texture, but too sweet for me
My chocolate arrived completely melted despite the ice pack (I am in texas), so I don't think I could enjoy it properly, despite it being rehardened in the fridge. But besides that, I wish they had darker chocolate options because 70% was just a little too sweet for me. The 80% plain was just barely dark enough, but I wish I could try some of the other flavors at the same darkness level. The texture was good. And I'm glad that it's made from cacao, and not cocoa (so I'm still getting the benefits of it being raw).
