These dissolvable caffeine strips are advertised as a way to get your daily dose of the world’s favorite stimulant and hallucinogen by absorbing through the oral mucosa for a faster effect. I got these to see if it could help bypass my stomach bc of my acid reflux/gastritis. They work pretty well. The 100mg hits like an extra strong cup of coffee (which averages 80 mg caffeine) on an empty stomach. I wouldn’t bother with the 40 mg version unless you’re very sensitive or caffeine naive. I’ve noticed it’s a little less likely to induce a bowel movement, which is a plus or minus depending. If you swallow a strip, the effects feel the same as any other source of ingested caffeine. My main gripe is that the strips which are supposed to taste like “lemon cola” taste AWFUL. Imagine that someone spilled Coke on some asphalt on a hot summer day everyday for a week, and at the end you had to lick it clean. That what it tastes like. The strips also stay in your mouth for several minutes while it dissolves (depending on how much licking you do). The more times you try it, the more you get used to it, though. Your mileage may vary. Overall, at $1 per serving, still a decent caffeine option, but not my first pick. 3/5 stars.

I like the flavor. I also think it is accurately described as Cola Lemon. To each their own. I think this is a great product and use it as a pick me up when I'm on the go. I think it is very convenient and easier then buying a fancy coffee or scrambling for a soda.

There's a weird chemically aftertaste to these. They get stuck to the roof of your mouth and are seriously hard to dislodge. When stuck they take too long for comfort to dissolve. The taste going in isn't horrible but it's not something I'd write home about. They also have a weird texture. Maybe it's easier to get some caffeine than drinking an energy drink but to be honest I'd rather drink an energy drink.

SO MY STRIPS SAY 100 MG PER STRIPPAMPHLET INSIDE AS WELL AS 1 SLIDE ON SITE TALK ABOUT TAKING SEVERAL....NOW, WHILE THEY DO SAY DON'T EXCEED 200 MG, THE PAMPHLET MUST BE REFERENCING A REG STRENGTH VERSION THATS 40 MG!, SAYING A WHOLE PACK EQUALLS 200, WHEREAS IF MINE ARE AS STATED 100 PER STRIP, THAT WOULD BE 500 MG!!!!!C'MON GUYS??!!??YOU TOOK A GREAT PRODUCT BUT OVERLOOKED THAT???ANYWAY.. IT DOESNT HAVE A FANTASTIC TASTE, THE BITTERNESS OF THE CAFFEINE IS THERE AT THE END.. DON'T CHEW OR ITS REALLY BAD, BUT I CAN OVERLOOK THAT BC ITS SO DARN HANDY.. I take caffeine pills from time to time looking for an extra boost of energy to get through the work day. Naturally, I ordered these Revvies extra strength caffeine strips because I thought they would be a good alternative to the caffeine pills since these soluble strips have only 100 mg of caffeine per strip according to product description and packaging. The quick boost of energy is there when I take these strips, but at a price: the terrible taste. I don't see myself being able to get used to the bitter taste of caffeine, and would much rather quickly swallow a caffeine pill than have the taste linger in my mouth while the strip dissolves. I tasted a very slight hint of cola and lemon, but that flavor is not enough to compete with the overpowering bitterness. Also, I feel that individually wrapping each energy strip involves too much packaging and is unnecessary. I will keep some of these strips in the car and some at home just in case I ever need them, but I don't see myself ordering Revvies energy strips in the future. If you can get past the bad taste, you will like the functionality and convenience of these strips.

These have a good initial flavor but it quickly goes to a bitter artificial taste that lingers. It's nothing horrible and is palatable but isn't pleasant. Energy wise, these are really good! Give me a clean energy without any jitters. I won't be using these daily but will stash them aside for quick pick me ups when needed.
