TFY Car Window Sun Shade Protector Shine Blocker

This is a great little portable aid to block the sun's rays, especially if your vehicle windows are not tinted.

I love this sun shade! I have very sensitive eyes to sunlight and needed something to block the 'side window sun' that always catches me going to and leaving work. This blocks out enough of the glare without hindering my ability to see and drive safely on the highway or street way. It removes from the window (suction-held) very, very easily. It can also be remounted without issue. I have not had it fall off due to poor suction yet! Only thing, just remember you have it up when you are attempting to open your window. :) I've done that a few times but no damage has been done to the shade! It is durable and well made and stores very easily. I just slip mine on the side of my door's pocket.

I bought these to shield bright headlights in my van's driver's side mirror. My mirrors don't have power adjustments so there's no other way to get relief but to block the light and these do they job pretty well. My full-size towing van has a large normal mirror, and smaller panoramic mirror and a medium size extended towing mirror so having something fairly large and adjustable that could block the light from all three at once was important to me, and this does it. I do have one issue with these devices though, and one warning. The issue I have is that the suction cup is not nearly as good as other suction cups I've had experience with on other devices. It's not very supple and it can be difficult to get it to stick to the window sometimes. I'm concerned that it will even be worse once fall and winter get here and they are even stiffer. The warning is that when used for blocking the rear view mirror, they work well and you can still see approaching cars' headlights, but I've found it's really necessary to rotate them out of the way so you can get an unobstructed view in your mirrors before making a lane change. In my opinion it would be much too risky not to as the image is definitely obscured if you don't. Thankfully, the way these are designed makes rotating them out of, and then back into your field of view makes this easy to do. Overall, I'm very satisfied with them!

It really defuses the sun.

3.5 stars. Great concept, good suction- it always stays but the visor itself doesn't always stay in place though, sometimes it rotates vertical when I want it to be horizontal. Maybe need shims or something. Not distracting for driving, could be even more tight knit, but that might start to get hazardous.

This is now going to keep me from being blinded by the sun when I leave the house every morning! I'm putting it right between the visors of my car, since the ones in the car do not extend. It attaches with a big suction cup, so I can put it anywhere! This sun shade is perfect, because it is adjustable, holds its position, and performs well. I will be purchasing another one for my other vehicle.

Don't waste your money. This thing will NOT stick to your window. I tried cleaning the windows very thoroughly and buffing off with a lint free cloth, I tried moistening the suction cup (after cleaning window and applying it to the dry window did not work) -- well that did not work either. I really liked the design of this because of the way you can position it, but I returned it since it would not stick on and falls off on you while you are driving (it got to be a kind of joke).

This 'disappeared' from my car one day and I had to send for another one. It works better than any other I've had. The shade stays on the window just fine until you want to remove it (that's easy) and does the job while it's in place. I can store it on the side of the door and it's ready to grab when you need it. A really handy item!

The picture and what is advertised is misleading, and they don't talk about the real issue, I just tried it for once and hated it. It sticks to the window, but not long enough, and it fells down so fast, it's risky and safety issue while driving. Also, the other end, it doesn't stay straight, and it sags, so it defeats the purpose of having it on the window. I don't know why the maker don't pay attention to issues, safety and it's stupid not being practical. They're only going to lose on all front, customer satisfaction and being user-friendly and practically fit for purpose. DO NOT BUY IT, WASTE OF MONEY. I don't bother to return it, but I hope others don't buy it. Rubbish
