Not cheap, but makes for a good, quick Old Fashioned!
Luxardo Cherries and some pourable nicely done Woodford Reserve simple syrup with added flavors and bitters already in the mi!. Great for when you are mixing several for guests and everyone seems to not only enjoy the flavor but the added bonus of the best Old Fashioned cherry out there, in the Luxardos. Makes for a classy drink made easy. Just add an ice square and some good bourbon or rye whiskey, stir, add cherry (or two) and enjoy. Great gift, too!

Luxardo awesome, Old Fashion syrup, meh
Luxardo is an awesome, essential ingredient in any great old fashioned. As syrup goes, Im sure the Woodford is good, but after just two mixes, I instantly returned to my own (and original) Demerara brown sugar cube and orange bitters for Old Fashions. I found the syrup to be cloying and too sweet in an old fashioned.

Two excellent products.
I got many compliments on the Old Fashioned batch that I made for a large group. Very easy recipe. The items were packaged well, but the Woodford Old Fashioned arrived with the plastic cap broken into two pieces. It was still useable. I can't figure out how it could have broken, maybe it was that way at the production facility. I would buy both products again.
