I received this test lead kit in exchange for a fair review. I appreciate the offer, and I am happy to do so.This test lead kit contains most what would be used in what the average maker and builder comes across on electronics. And that’s pretty much where it is: Semi-professional use; Or as marketing calls it: Prosumer. And even though test leads look very much alike, there is a huge difference between $20 and a $150 kit. In this range this set floats between ‘way better than cheap’ but ‘not top notch). This is most noticeable with the materials. There are edges from the moldings, and the material just feels cheaper than a Fluke set. Of course a reputable brand is certified and stands behind their products with a warranty and support, which adds to the price.If the extra quality and manufacturer support isn’t needed, this is a very good set for the price. Anybody who owns a halfway decent multimeter should also have this set on hand. No bending paper clips or patching wires and risking damage to equipment with this. Since it comes in a neat box, it’s easy to store as well. That’s five stars from me.I took a few photos. I hope it helps to make a decision. If so, please let me know by clicking the button.

Vital. That's what these probes are.If you use a meter for electrical/electronic work like I do, a set of probes like these is a must-have to complete your kit. From tiny points to scary voltage, these probes add grip and a bit of safety to your work.Today's electronics are tiny - the needle point probes let you see what's going on when the pins or traces are slim.On the other end of the scale, you do not want to slip when probing significant power sources, like 480VAC or even 120VAC.Nicely flexible but tough leads with interchangeable heads for your needs. Nice storage box too.Price isn't cheap - but neither are these probes.

This is just the thing I was looking for!While the standard probes you're given with your multimeter (needle) or bench power supply (alligator clip) work well enough for most applications there has been several occasions where I needed one probe to grip unto a wire going to ground while the other needle probe poked around checking for a short or trying to manually feed a fan 8.5 volts to see where the circuit path breaks down. That's where these come in.Very sturdy, they've stood up to a lot of abuse at my hands and they're still going strong.I do wish the box they live in was a wee bit bigger, because unless you place the probes back where they belong just right the case will not close properly.

Tinkering with electronics invariably requires taking measurements, and this set is excellent for different occasions.
