Bought this shampoo again as I used it a few years back when I had short hair- and wanted to grow it out. It worked then and it works now! Over the years and having a thyroid condition, suffering with anxiety and on medication, stress can cause hair to shed and fall out, and more so when you hit a certain age. So i first decided to go with the sister brand Plantyr and that was pretty good, but you get a lot less lather and its more expensive, so I decided to use this again, and although it smells like lynx, it lathers really well, washes really well, doesnt make my head itch, and leaves it smelling nice and clean. Been using it for 5 days now- every day, and im happy. My only advice is to use a good conditioner to soften your hair after using this shampoo, as it is specifically marketed towards men, so a good conditioner is a must! Noticed less shedding already, but it does strip artificial hair colour too, so just be mindful about that if you have coloured hair. Will be purchasing again. This is the second review in 5 years I have made on this product. I just think its a really good shampoo. Try it for yourselves and see.

I like alpecin shampoo, it smells nice and makes your hair and scalp feel refreshed. It doesn't cause dandruff and you get a decent amount that lasts a while. Don't know if it helps my hair loss but I like using it and you can use it everyday. Its good to use the alpecin liquid after too. I do recommend this product!

Item arrived a day late. The shampoo is good and leaves my husbands hair in good condition but it doesn't stop it itching.

Alpecin shampoo is good for long hair. It stops hair thinning leaves the hair feeling clean and shining. Good value. I dont get a lot of hair fall using it.

I am using this shampoo for a few years now although I am nearly bald I get great results every time I use it clean scalp no itching and some hair growth .i will keep using it.

Similar to many others here, the old hairline has been thinning over the last 10 years. Thought I'm not too precious about my look, I've turned to Alpecin to make me feel better that I am at least doing something about it. Now don't go thinking this is a miracle cure because I've given it 5 stars. Its not going to make your hair grow back like you think it will, what it will do however, is at least slow down the hair loss so its not dropping of at the rate it would without. Its a great daily shampoo, it doesn't leave hair feeling too dry or too greasy, nor have I ever suffered dandruff whilst using it so it is genuinely a great daily mens shampoo which tries to keep hold of your hair. Its a bit on the expensive side for what it is, and I cant vouch for whether it works as I'm not prepared to not use it for a year and as a result go bald for an Amazon review (not quite ready for that one just yet), but its a good daily shampoo which makes me feel good which is all that we want!

This is a great seller and a great product. Ordered six bottles and received all six bottles quickly. Very pleased with this shampoo and have used it for years.

I felt the difference just in about a week! Extremely good value for money, would buy again. They could have sold these for much more expensive if they wanted. Instead they are selling it for almost the same price as a regular shampoo. And I appreciate it very much!

Since I started using this product more than a year ago, I have see noticeable reduction on the amount of hair I lose on a daily basis. I do recommend it!

Exactly as described and smells great. My hair feels really clean afterwards. I'm not sure that it has regrown any hair, but I'm not losing any either. My temple recession seems to have halted.
