The job seemed wobbly when finished because of the firmness of the gasket, but it works. This product would be better with all-brass pieces, as I believe there eventually would be electrolysis between steel and brass, and corrosion. But that would be years away. Make sure you need this diameter opening. It is slightly over two inches, which fit a Crane toilet tank. Very easy to install. (Not many things get five stars from me).

I haven't ever changed the tank screws before. It had very clear instructions and was easy to do.

Would have given 5 stars but the gasket was the wrong one for my toilet (not their fault) but it was easy to install.

So, it would've been great except the packaging was damaged and as a result it was missing a fender washer when it arrived. I opened the shipping box and noticed one washer rolling around in the box. After looking at the original manufacturer's packaging I noticed that the plastic had separated from the cardboard and that one of the washers was missing altogether. As I was repairing a toilet for a friend and it was an emergency I kinda had to go with what I had and I managed to rig up another washer that was a bit too big, but I got it to work for now. Be wary of ordering this kit.

I have an old toilet I put in from the late 80's that's still going strong but needed a little repair work. The kit worked quite well and was easy to install. It's been a couple months now and no leaks.

It's an interesting item to review, however I'll do my best. The parts required to connect a tank to the bowl are all here and fit correctly. Over time the "brass" bolts have corroded visibly on the heads. If you want to avoid this buy solid brass bolts.

The hardware was very good. The gasket did not account for the plastic nut that holds the flush valve. It did not fit flush with the bottom of the tank. It would not seal. The kit was therefore useless.
