Great for helping babies sleep through the night
This is an amazing for young babies. The first night that I put this on my little one, he slept through the night! It was wonderful. I had not had a full night's sleep for about 2 months! So of course I was overjoyed to sleep through the night. However my husband kept waking up, freaking out that something was wrong with the baby since he wasn't waking up crying during the night. It is tight and snuggly - just like the womb. In fact, the first time I zipped him up he had a huge huge HUGE smile on his face once her realized that he could not move around that much. It did take awhile to get him zipped up because I had to keep shoving his hands back in - they kept escaping! My son was in the Big Baby weight suggestions but he has very broad shoulders. This seemed way to tight for him by the shoulders and neck.We only ended up using this for less than 2 weeks. My son started rolling over a little bit before he turned 3 months old. Once they started rolling over it is unsafe for them to have their arms swaddled and constrained. So sadly we had to give this up. The good thing is that he was used to the schedule and didn't really wake up much during the night after. Most babies do not roll over this early so this could be a good investment for most parents.Do I wish we got it sooner? No. He wasn't able to drink more than a few onces at a time and in the beginning he really needed those nightly feedings otherwise he wouldn't be getting enough formula. Similac and Enfamil both have formula schedules if you are wondering how much your baby should be eating. We didn't attempt to have him sleep through the night until he was eating a little bit over the minimum amount suggested for his age.I'd recommend that parents not attempt to have their child sleep through the night until they are sure that their baby is receiving the correct amount of nutrients. If your child is, then this is a miracle worker!

Fabulous!
Someone reviewed that the mesh was rough against baby's hands. I really have to disagree. Its soft mesh, and I can't see how that could be possible.Woombie recommends placing your baby in just a onesie and then into this. It has been perfect for our florida weather. We keep our house at 72 and baby seems nice and comfy! If it's cooler for some reason we just do a long sleeve onesie so his little arms and hands don't get chilled because they're in the ventilated spot. These will look deceivingly big when you receive them - but they tend to be spot on with weight and sizing.I own 8 of them, so I feel very qualified to write this review! I used them for my first son and now with my second! They held up really well. We also have the grey and black rockstar print but that one's color faded quickly which was disappointing. The white and grey striped one stayed beautiful! Our second son started rolling at 3 months so we were unable to continue use at that point for safety reasons - if this happens to you woombie also sells one with pillows sewn in to each side to stop baby from rolling!I also love that these are safe for their hip development.I put my son in this, stick a soothie pacifier in and turn on some white noise and he is OUT like a light!High quality product. I definitely recommend it! I swear we have gotten so much more sleep because of it! Life saver!

LOVE it!
I love the woombie! This is my second one [my son grew out of his first], and it is by far the best swaddle out there! The velcro ones are a pain to put on, and especially for middle of the night changes! And he would sometimes break out and wake up. We used the swaddlepod [the other zipper one] also when he was a newborn, but they only make newborn size so when he grew out of it after 10lbs, we needed another woombie. The swaddlepod also is not as strong material so even when he was tiny he would occasionally break out. When we used both we definitely preferred the woombie. The woombie is very snug, but not too tight. It zips up and down for easy diaper changes, and he never breaks out of it. They are pricey, but seriously so worth it!!

We use the Woombie AND the Miracle Blanket
My 2 month old was getting out of his regular swaddle so we bought the Miracle Blanket. He was getting out of that swaddle so we bought the Woombie. He could still move his arms around in the Woombie and it would wake him up so we now use BOTH to swaddle him before his night time sleep. He sleeps from 8pm-7am most every night.

Mesh was fine
I was happy with the mesh. Although he wore in the winter fairly bundled underneath the mesh was good bc if he sucked on his hands it didn't soak the whole swaddle. Love the woombie bc it's not a straight-jacket. Wish I would have started with his instead of the halo for both kids.

For the tall and skinny babe
I have a 16 lb chubby 2 month old baby. He was breaking out of his swaddle so I thought I try this. It says it goes up to 19 lbs, but I think it's for a tall slender baby. My son was totally motionless and seemingly very uncomfortable in this.

Must have baby product
This is a cute design and ventilated perfect for summer. My babies all slept better through the night with the woombie better than any other swaddling product, you just have to swaddle once! I used until 6 months on both my babies until 6 months. They have buttons that open up the the arms for when they start rolling over.
