Nice sturdy pin. The bands fit well and don't slide. Easy to clean.

Used the biggest thickness for my sugar cookies and they all came out super consistent and the perfect size! Easy to change the adjustable thickness rubbers, and a bit sticky but not a problem if you add a parchment paper sheet in between the dough and roller!

Quality and price. Pricing is competitive and wood quality very nice. Did treat with wood cutting board oil sealant before use. Cleaned easily.

Purchased to replaced my ancient roller when the handles broke. Love the assorted height rings - so much easier to get consistent thickness for pie crust or cookies. Rings are easy to install and stay put during use. Wood roller bar is nice and smooth, and long enough to accommodate rings without compromising rolling space. Love it 🙂 PS ... my son bought one for use with art clay - works like a charm with that too!

I am very happy with this rolling pin. It gives me accuracy and consistency when I bake, which is important for recipes that require even thickness and uniformity. It fits perfectly in my le cruset utensil holder and it is easy to store under the counter. I chose the 17 inch model because I bake a lot of cinnamon rolls and it can cover the entire dough sheet. It also works well for other types of dough, such as my bacon cheddar jalapeno biscuits. With this rolling pin, I can use a trifold technique to create layers of flakiness that are delicious and impressive. The rolling pin is very sturdy and the rubber spacer rings are durable and easy to adjust. It is also super easy to clean and maintain. I love this rolling pin and my family does too, because they enjoy the results of my improved cooking and baking. I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves baking. p.s. yes that is sourdough starter you see in one of the photos, so we will be utilizing this rolling pin more often in the near future!

I love my rolling pin. The rings measurements are on the inside under their name as 1 reviewer had said. It is very hard to read, but you can see how thin or thick your dough will be when you place them on the roller. To wash them, I scrape off any dried stuck on dough and then give it a quick wipe down with a warm, wet paper towel. Allow it to air dry completely before storing, and occasionally I condition it with mineral oil that I get from a drug store. Do not use regular cooking oil as it can go rancid. Do not let any 3 or less star rating stop you from buying it. It is truly a great rolling pin!!!

Good for intended purposes

I love this roller! I use it for rolling out clay for ceramics, and I love it cause the wood isn't treat it. I will get another one for my baking and will treat it with food safe Tung oil to keep it from molding. I definitely recommend it. I hope the rings keep their elasticity for a long time.

So I just received this rolling pin and this review is just based on the pin itself. The rings do not have markings on them as to what size they are. Would have preferred the measurements be given in fractions instead of mm. There were no instructions with this item as to care and maintenance, I had to log back into the store and re read the description. Not a great presentation to start off.
