Okay so i'm I suppose to clean the fog machine per use? example i used it to take it out of the box to try it... do i have to clean it now?can it wait

No. The cleaning fluid is for machines that have been used for a while or will sit for an extended period of time. I clean our geysers and fog machines at the end of our season which is 6-8 months long. They are used usually 2-3 times a month. I empty the machines of any fluid and then run the cleaner through them before I store them for the winter. If I have a machine that is not acting properly, I will run the cleaner through it to see if that helps. Sometimes after use they port will start to clog. The cleaner will clear the lines and the ports. Hope this helps.

So are you supposed to use the whole bottle and let it run through the fog machine or what?

you just add the amount that the tank holds, it's not very much. The bottle will last a lifetime. It takes a long time to use up the cleaner b/c you have to manually keep the machine cranking since it has an automatic turn off when the motor reaches a certain temperature, a safety thing. The machine does work great however.

I just pour the liquid into the machine?

First empty out any left over for fluid. Then, yes pour about a cup in the reservoir and run it through the machine. You will see the difference once the fog fluid fully runs through and it starts using the cleaner. Run an couple burst iterations of the cleaner and you are good to go.

I misworded my prev question. When I put this in my machine, the machine stopped running after a few min. What is supposed to happen normally?

Normally, I pour out any remaining fog fluid and add a little bit, about a cup of the fog fluid cleaner to it. Then I continue to use the machine until I see no more fog pumping out of the machine. When it looks clear, like a water mist, I shut the machine, pour out any remaining cleaner and put the machine away for its next use. That’s how I know it’s clean. I don’t know what type of machine you have or if it automatically shuts off when it’s clean or not? But, that’s how I clean my fog machines. I hope this helped you out.

It's the best thing for the purpose.

Does what it's suppose to do very well. It does a job that needs to be done regularly, so it's best to use the right thing. Protects your investment and prevents embarrassing failures. I like that there's nothing shocking or disturbing in the SDS for Chauvet's products and solutions. Inspections and regulations are about to double down on atmospheric effects used by venues and entertainers. Don't get caught using something cheap.

Clean machines work after months in storage

Excellent to clean the system out for peak performance. This year we got some debris in our fog machine and I had to take the unit apart to clean the solenoid pump inside. While our fog machine is out of warranty, it definitely isn't too complex inside, there's a ton of YouTube videos to learn how it's done. Either way, fog machine cleaner is a must after a Halloween extravaganza, and I love keeping my gear in top shape

Brought the hazer back to life!

My Chauvet Hazer was spitting hot liquid and clogged from using the wrong haze fluid - This cleaned it right out and it's back to 100% Definitely run the cleaning fluid through outside - smells like burnt vinegar.

Fixed the issue

Used this to clean out my Geysers that weren’t putting out the full amount of fog. They work beautifully now. Great product!

Basically just overpriced vinegar and distilled water solution

I didn’t know before purchasing, but yes you can definitely do this yourself for much cheaper.

Meine Nebelmaschine verstopfte nach einigen stunden dauergebrauch bei langer aber geringer Ausstoßmenge. Das freiblasen mit diesem Reiniger ging sehr schnell.

Je n'ai vu aucune différence entre du vinaigre et ce produit, que ce soit à l'odeur ou à l'usage. Chauvet ferait mieux de proposer un mélange à faire soi-même. En plus je n'avais pas capté, mais c'est tout petit pour ce prix ! Déçu.
