UTG Super Slim Flip-up Rear Sight

The UTG Super Slim Low Profile Front (MNT-755) and Rear (MNT-955) sights offer great value and quality for backup AR sights. These sights are standard issue on the Springfield Armory Saint AR platforms and that says allot about the quality, value, and durability that these sights deliver. When paired together, they provide very low profile flip up sights that are quickly engaged and locked in place. A simple press pin releases the lock and the sights fold down. Very durable aircraft aluminum construction , easy to install, accurate and plenty of windage and elevation adjustment. Holds zero very well and are very accurate. Running about a 1 1/2" groups with shelf ammo at 100yards with my aging eyes. Not bad at all! The MNT-955 Rear sight has a dual aperture rotating ring that can be easily adjusted for both close in and away yardages. Windage is adjusted by hand and holds its mark. The MNT-755 Front sight is adjustable for elevation but a tool, not included, is required to adjust the front sight post. You can customize a tool or buy one for under $10. Both sights come with a Allen wrench for mounting. I painted the front post white to help my aging eyesight. May have to find some glow orange paint soon as I'm not getting any younger. At least not yet! Only issue with these sights is the plastic ball bearing swivel which can be swapped out with a metal one for durability. The plastic ball bearing ensures a solid lock-up without any sight tower wobble. I paired these sights with a Vortex Strikefire II Red/Green dot optic and realized a 1/3 lower co-witness view with the UTG sights. (UTG sights are visible in the bottom 1/3 section of the field of view when looking thru the optic.) Excellent combo and you might want to try the 36/300 yard zero with the 25yard adjusted zero targets for the 5.5" center mass strike zone out to 300 yards. Very impressive and might just become your favorite zero yardage? Most shooting ranges accommodate the 25, 50, 75, and 100 yard pins so the 25 yard adjusted zero targets gives you the 25 yard point of aim zero and a 36 yard point of impact zero so you can easily adjust for a 36yard zero when shooting at the 25 yard pin. Really solid product. I like quality stuff; I prefer eotechs for primary sights but for iron sights there are some seriously expensive and disappointing options. This item is not only very reasonably priced but also very rigid, with a good mount, good detent, and positive clicks when adjusting. I’ll be grabbing more when needed as these are great for the money; also note they are made in Taiwan 🇹🇼 and not China and you can tell as the quality is there

Works grea. Very durable. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT SPRING LOADED. You must manually flip it up, but it lock in place very securely once up. Worth a buy.

Much higher build quality than I was expecting, even after reading reviews. Positive clicks and engagement on the windage adjutsment, aperature, and flip up action itself. Pretty nice anodization, and little to no slack or movement in the sight. One ding off for having a plastic detent for the flip up action, the other detents are steel. Also, I'm assuming it was a fluke, but the one I received was canted when in the down/folded position. It did not sit straight or align with the rail, so I returned it for a replacement. If the replacement has the same issue of any degree, I'll further reduce the rating. These are made in Taiwan, which is generally a significant step up from most mainland China products.. Assuming my replacement is perfectly straight, this is a definite recommendation, regardless of the price. Not your typical imported junk. If the plastic detent call causes issues in the future, it could easily be replaced. *** UPDATE *** Recieved the replacement and it is straight. Excellent sight minus the plastic ball detent. Would be 5 stars even considering the single drawback, but leaving it at 4 because of the instance of slipped up QC.

Great option. Blows anything else in its price range out of the water. UTG is cheap stuff, but its also good and usable! Magpul BUIS are more than double the price of this and imo this has a better design when it comes to casual shooting. Comes with the Allen key. Mounts up flat and slender with the upper reciver. Adjustments are easy and tactile, although a little too easy to adjust which leads me to belive that in hard use situations it would probably be bumped and loose zero inadvertently. I would probably choose another BUIS system over this UTG offering if hard professional and daily use is your intended purpose.. although it might be able to flex into those roles, I belive there are other options out there better suited for the job albeit more expensive too. There is a relatively thin and small release button you need to press in order to fold the sight back down. It sticks out probably a quarter of an inch and if you were to inadvertently ram that into, idk, a stone wall... I could see it breaking or bending, possibly ruining your zero aswell. it tucks in uniform with the sight when its folded down. If you're looking for an affordable BUIS... this is going to be your best option.

Also ich muss mich erst mal bei der Firma entschuldigen.Front und Rear Sight wurden beide mit der Begründung von mir zurückgeschickt, weil sie haken. Ich hatte mich von einem Vorredner dadurch schon sensibilisieren lassen. Allerdings hat dieses Haken allein damit zu tun, dass beide Visiere erst einmal durch kräftiges Hand anlegen in Position gebracht werden müssen, was schon etwas Mut verlangen, da ich Angst hatte, etwas zu beschädigen.Danach laufen beide einwandfrei. Des weiteren ist die Qualität beider Visiere TOP.Ich kenne Die von MacPul und Konsorten,die können in jedem Fall mithalten,man kann das 5fache dafür ausgeben.Knackige feste Justierung,da wackelt nix da klappert nix.Ich habe bisher einiges von dieser Firma gekauft,Tragegriff AR15,Zielfernrohr,AR15 Griff,alles bisher TippiToppi,weitermachen.....

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo, il mirino è di tipo flipup ma non a molla, quindi è da alzare/abbassare manualmente. Semplice la regolazione. Il mirino è stabile e mantiene la taratura.

Diese Klappvisiere bzw. auch BUIS (Backup Iron Sights) genannten Visiere können auf alle Langwaffen oder Umbaukits montiert werden, welche über eine entsprechende Picatinny Schiene verfügen. Die Klappfunktion funktioniert zwar etwas hakelig aber sie funktioniert zuverlässig und sicher. Die Visiere klappen nicht von selbst wieder zu oder stellen sich durch grobmotorische Umgangsformen von selbst auf. Die Feineinstellung erfolgt einfach und zuverlässig an dem Visier und verstellt sich nicht von selbst. Von Kaliber 9mm über 223 Rem. bis zu 308 absolut schussfest! KLARE KAUFEMPFEHLUNG!

Il prodotto ha un’ottima qualità prezzo. L’unico difetto riscontrato è un’eccessiva ampiezza dell’apertura del cerchio della tacca di mira che a mio avviso dovrebbe essere leggermente più stretto
